Yeah Luke, I didn't get anywhere with that video.

It's pretty much my fault, I'm not very consistent with projects.

It's even worse with video projects because they take a lot longer.

Maybe when I get a new PC.

@travz21 Funnily enough, I do use a lot of the stock VSTs too. They are very underrated and I think are over looked a lot. I use Sawer, Wasp, Wasp XT, Toxic Biohazard, PoiZone, Massive, sometimes OSCx3 and sometimes Sytrus. I use a lot of effects too though. Oh, and Itchy's Subsonic is great too.

I don't use any presets, as I'm sure you guessed (I don't think anybody should tbh). I always specifically find the sounds I'm looking for. :)

@LDUKMusic Damn. You are a god. I heavily tweak presets, but I could never build sounds from the ground up. You might like U-He products then, especially Ace and Zebra. They have a big bundle of solid effects, too.

@travz21 Ah , heavily tweaking presets is fine, as long as it sound different from the actual preset and unique. They can be useful short cuts to the sound your looking for. In fact, the arp in 'Do robots dream...' is the preset 'Atez' under 'sequence' in 'sytrus' but tweaked and almost stripped down completely to get that 8-bit sound.
