For those who want song, most computer soundcards allows you to record sound that plays from the computer. Download Audacity software and it got a few recording options. You need to select Stereo Mix then press record. It might require an additional plugin to do something else than OGG or WAV format, though.

If Stereo Mix is not avaliable, then plug a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable into both your headphone and mic jack then select microphone mode for recording

yeah but be careful about the jack-jack method, the microphone jack can't take as much power as the headphone one delivers, so lower the volume before processing !
