I have a copy of the same piece, at as far as I know, hindi cya patented or copyrighted ng simbahang katoliko. obviously, wala kang alam sa Kristiyanismo kaya ganyan ka kitid ang utak mo. Parang sinabi mo na rin na walang kaming karapatang kumanta ng Ama Namin dahil kinakanta rin yan ng Katoliko. As a member of UCCP Ellinwood, subukan mo umattend sa service namin nang maliwanagan ka.

thanks for your reply. protestantism had roots in Martin Luther's time - 16th century. but this 20-21st century there is what we call the ecumenical movement where protestants, catholics, and other religions are in talking terms regarding their common beliefs. now protestant songs are also being sung in catholic churches - like sapagkat ang Dios ay pag-ibig, sa iyong mga yapak, and other praise and worship songs. what can you say of this new development?
... i'm a catholic, and i just want to make some corrections, that it's better in most minds and hearts to name EVANGELICAL than protestants.. They protested and that was long time ago ( c: i agree with you neo), now we're near unitu of the church.. God bless all believers, and to our brother muslims and of other faiths...

what i'm trying to say? catholic songs should only be sung insdie a catholic church., that is why these churches (including UCCP) are called protestants because they protested against catholicism., and now catholic songs are now being sung inside their church?
If that's how things should be, bakit po kaya may protestant songs na kinakanta rin sa ilang mga Catholic churches ano? siguro naman lahat tayo ay may karapatang kantahin ang mga kantang gaya nito, Katoliko man o hindi. 'Di naman siguro naglagay ang Catholic composers nito ng copyright o something na nagsasabing Katoliko lang ang may karapatang kumanta nito. 'wag tayong magdamot kapatid. i agree with xuarb...hindi naman tayo ija-jadj ni Lord according to bakit kinanta nila (protestant) ang kanta natin (catholics)... but we will be judged according to what we have done in this earth...
By the way, did I mention that I'm Catholic? I am my friend and I think ok lang namang kinakanta ang mga kantang ganito sa bahay sambahan nila. Besides, we're directing this to the same God. Nagkaibaiba lang ng approach sa 'pananampalataya' kaya nagkaroon ng mga Protestants.
i am referring with that post of marvz.. hehe.. sorry. yap i know, arnold zamora is the arranger of this piece, Take and receive, the arranger of minsan lang kitang iibigin and what matters most (the song we are always singing anywhere we go, kahit sa gitna ng kalsada. haha)
