what i hate is that M. night shaylman (or watever his name is) said that sokka isnt going to be sarcastic or funny. he said that thats too much of a kid thing. Why not have middle eastern/Indians play East Asian based characters? Just like Chinese and Japanese people should play the cowboys in the next western movie. Get it now? It's not being racist, it's being true to the feel of the series. They all can dress up in Chinese influenced clothes, practice Kung Fu, and drink ocha (tea), but in the end, it's going to be as distracting as the white people in the old westerns that paint their face dark to look like a native american.

Yet Most of the characters except Ang look like native indians, and have a darker complexion. Maybe to be true to the Show Nicole and the other snow white will get a tan and contacts and maybe die their hair. also the only nation that looks remotely white was Air. Earth looked more Asian, Fire looked like a mix bag, and Water looks more Native Indian.
