The script is just a rehash of Jerry Maguire and the third act is screwy. Regardless, Orlando Bloom completely finished it off. His acting was so wooden and off that he screwed up nearly every scene. I don't even normally notice acting.

This movie reminds me that when you live in a big city, as opposed to a small town in the middle of America, just because “what we see outside our window becomes what we think of as the world” doesn’t mean there isn’t a whole globe out there, making life possible for itself. Small towns like that have a future and a past. When you see the characters in this town, it was as CLOSE to nowhere as you could possibly get, yet it was more of a place we have been in a long time.

I watched this, read tied to a chair in front of the TV, thanks to my Aunt when she came to visit. Me, her, and my mom all watched it. We cried buckets at the whole thing! This is one of the girl's night out movies that everyone will love! Also, guys will enjoy it too. ^^

So when i first seen this i was at my sisters but we didn't pay attention to it and then i was just randomly in a store and this movie was on sale for only 5 dollars it was raining i needed a good movie day and ever since then its been my favorite movie. Then again I've never watched anything else with Orlando bloom in it so that doesn't actually bother me, i love the plot i love that its teaching people how to just let go of pointless stress, Be themselves, Learn to be happy & just live :)

I actually enjoyed this film a lot more than I expected. the only problem is that the love story subplot with Kirsten Dunst's character just felt unnecessary. It felt tacked-on and out of place. Without that I think the film would have been better.

the trailer doesn't do this movie justice. i know this film got a lot of slack and kind of flopped in theatres but i've always had a soft spot for it. i mean, everything cameron crowe touches is just kind of perfect. it was weird at first think to think of orlando bloom as hailing from kentucky, but it ended up working. i always have to watch this movie at least once every summer.

The first mistake of this movie was casting Orlando Bloom in it. Orlando Bloom is British. This film takes place in a small town in one of the southern states of America. He totally doesn't fit.

I have seen this movie at 8 or 9 times...(I have it in my cell phone! :) )and every times it makes me feel identified with any parts, affected in others, but it is the best moovie for ever. And finally, I love the final part when he is desesperate to find her.

Elizabethtown is one of the most beautiful and sweet movies ever made - unique storyline, acting, everything. I'm not Orlando Bloom's fan but he looked respectable here. Kirsten Dunst was great as always. Adorable and supertalented Susan Sarandon was impressive. She should have had more screen time in this movie.

Bruce McGill, Judy Greer, Jessica Biel and

Paul Schneider did a good job too.

This film is incredibly: it gives you a series of very stupid things followed by one, powerful and emotional moment that suddenly clears everything up.

You'll laugh, you'll cry (because you're laughing so hard) and it is a great film to watch with friends. Plus, all the actors are great in it, especially Kirsten Dunst :)
