Rogers using article 11 will try to hit you with a cancellation fee ( an additional 1 month ) this is not right - a class action suit is being prepared against the company. When a contract expires it is exactly that no further action is required by law, if the user cancels his/her contract prior to the expiry date - different story. (4/4) If you want a company that practices false advertising, scamming and poor customer service (one horrible rep even transferred me to the shipping department, which only has a voice mail), then go with Rogers! If you don't, then stay the Hell away and don't touch them with a 10-foot pole!
(2/4) They claimed I'm using 135GB of data (bullshit)! I had them send me a new modem (thinking mine was broken because the service kept cutting out).
After 4 months, I finally found out from their phone rep (my 10th time calling) that the guy had sold me a portable wireless modem...
Turns out, Rogers doesn't actually offer home internet in British Columbia! I immediately cancelled my account and told them I'd return the device so they can clear my account.

@sirrichardterry - Go to speed test . net and test your internet speed. It may be youtube or your computer causing the speed issue. If the speed test fails then call Rogers. They repaired the wiring in my house at no cost & it fixed a speed issue I had.

@dmoney141414 - Thanks for the kind words. As part of the service level agreement, Rogers has to keep the wiring in proper condition. If you cut the lines your self then Rogers might charge for the line replacement. If the lines are just old, decaying or weather damaged then Rogers has to replace the lines per the service level agreement. They should not be charging for material fees in this case.
