    For this low class comment to come from a Senior Minister is both unfitting and inappropriate, especially when he clearly knows, he is speaking to the media.

    I think PAP has to treat all opponents as equals and STOP putting them down while placing themselves on pedestals.

  • Gosh, TPL has no rapport with us "to take it for granted" in the first place.

    "I hope that I will have the time..." If she can't even make time to engage the youth to gain their trust, why bother running in GE then?

    "If... I"m out, then I (SM Goh) think Singapore will be in deep trouble." Wow, so much confidence in himself eh?

    I don't appreciate the derogatory comments made by SM Goh. It is very un-gentlemanly of him to say such things, even though and especially when it is during the elections

  • Sad to know we have so many low intellectuals in SG that target our SM. If you have the chance to travel around the world for work, (which I doubt you even have =P), then use the opportunities to make comparisons. Singapore is far more better managed than many countries. But having said that, I think Nicole Seah definitely display more passion in serving Singaporeans than TPL. I saw TPL's husband today on newspaper. Only one word to describe. UGLY :P

  • PAP team, GCT and TPL please reflect yourself and to be a humble servant. A person gotten for more than $3M a year from people of Singapore (including me) shall carry $3 M of the respect to one and others. I hope to see PAP leaders to offer more than 3 Million of loves and care for the needy. Mentor is a person whom people wanted to learn from. $3 Million Mentor is too expensive as compare with the people of Singapore average income. Do not use the word "No Substance Party" What is PAP?

  • SM Goh, please don't say or judge NSP. TPL is no fight for Nicole Seah. How come PAP will end up getting TPL to serve the residents. If TPL is going to contest NS in a SMC, you know the result. Something is very wrong about selection process for PAP candidates. Better review...

  • @DiarySG Give him a break. Goh is the head of MAS. It has done a good job in providing effective financial regulations and macroeconomic management. Had it been otherwise, Singapore would have followed the US, Iceland, and Ireland. 5% inflation is definitely high, but which country does not have inflation? The US printed way too much money, which depressed the US dollar, which boosted the prices of food, oil, and commodities. The US caused worldwide inflation, not PAP.

  • @mengqi68 , true that US has caused worldwide inflation. But you are wrong as Singapore Central bank is different from US Central bank. The federal reserve bank is much complex than you know.

    What does Iceland and Ireland got to do with our central bank? Many of these countries were brought down by CDO that cause their country to go bankrupt.

    You have some points but were inaccurate. I wouldn't say MAS is not doing a good job but our inflation is definitely the Gov responsibility.
