  • Belo trabalho! Parabéns!

  • thank you for posting, good job

  • The greatest movie genius of all times! He created an entire world alone (direction, screenplay, music, everything) with an incredible minimum of technical meanings! Pictures that are better than the modern ones and that will forever last!

  • Sad that people like him can't exist today, because of the modern movie buisness.

He was an excelent actor, composer, director and producer of most of his films. He had the chance to experiment and I love his music...

  • Excelente gracias.

  • wonderful video, thanks for posting !

    A Legend.

We will never Forget about you.

  • I have so much respect and love for Charles Spencer Chaplin Jr.

He was ( and is ) such an great actor! I think if we had a person like that in the world today, world would have been better. He was so special, and I have never seen an actor like that in my hole life! He was the only actor who was like that, little and cute, with an perfect body language! I DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT WORLD HAVE ALMOST FORGOTTEN ABOUT HIM! :'( < 3

  • people move everiday but you know they move so slow, do the know why there going? waiting for 1989, we don't want no more war que loooko el charly ete che me cago de risa solo jeje Chaplin no se murio! Chaplin no se murio! que se muera Tinnelli la puta que lo pario! Chaplin in not death Chaplin is not death Who dies Tinelli
  • what he could do physically, not just for comedy but everytime he moves, even in the most subtle ways, tells a story, and emotion, a thought. It's awesome. I love Charlie :)

  • @foxpawz He was a master of pantomime, which is the art of acting without words. He learned it during his years on the stage. For all his brilliance as a comedian, his ability to convey emotion and thoughts through the subtlest of gestures rarely gets credit.

  • He is GOD!!!!!!!

  • omg, 1:33 .. I think im gonna' die

  • My dear Hero...pride of the working class...may you ever live in the hearts of your class brothers...

    Chas,our quijote, cheers!

  • How was Chaplin's clothes actually? I have seen on picture's that his jacket is red or dark-green colored .. :S I thought his hat, jacket, and shoes were black and his trousers are dark-grey .. :p isn't it? XDD hahah weird question i knoow ^^ buuuuut..?

  • I like the clip and the music at 4:46 ->

    Just like I feel sometimes.

  • muahahahahaahahahahahahahah

vdkfgjdfgtgt banana jdfjdshfhs banana asjhdjgsdjh!!! XD

  • Thank you for making this tribute to one of the great geniuses of "modern times." That final scene where he puts a smile on the orphan's face and they walk down the road to who-knows-where never fails to get me. Great way to end this tribute. Thanks again!

  • i just got out of the shower and im still naked xD

these commnts are SO much fun 2 read. gD

  • Yes, they ousted Chaplin from the US because then, just as up until now, anyone who questioned unbridled capitalism was labelled a communist, anyone who spoke out about the excesses in capitalism was labelled as a communist.

  • is charile chapin a jew?

  • No.

He wasn't really religious in a traditional sense of religion :)

But with the movie the great dictator there was the rumour about it, and I think he never did deny it officially, what in my eyes is a beautiful way of handling this situation :)

  • i one all offthe moveis of him i love his moveis

  • Amaizing Man !

I bet he had a happy life !

  • :( yes he was awesom.. but hollywood kinda discarded him wen he started drinking a lot and getting less popular... so yea... :*( we miss u little tramp!

  • sweetcollfamily: Charlie DID NOT drink. He was famously known as a teetotaler. His visitors said it was like being at a southern Baptist convention at his house. He only offered water or tea. His father died of alcoholism, thus Charlie stayed far away from alcohol. He also gave up smoking in his 30s. He was very healthy and played tennis until the end of his life at the age of 88. He became "less popular" due to the McCarthy witchhunts for socialists in the 40s and 50s

  • Thank you for this correction!

  • He actually had a tormented personal life in his later years and submerged himself in his work to forget his troubles.

  • geodesicks: after he married Oona O'Neill in 1943, until his death in 1977, by his own accounts and all others, he had the most blissful, calm, loving time of his life surrounded by his cherished wife and 8 children at his Manior de Ban in Vevey, Switzerland. He was working on yet another movie script for his daughter Victoria at the time of his death, called "The Freak". He was far, far from tormented. He considered that he was in his own paradise.

  • You're two tribute video's was good!

Really touching and cute. You brought the best of Chaplin in our videos, Linlymes! :D

  • good

  • I D O L O ! !

  • I remember that I laughed so hard when I saw one of Chaplins silent shorts. XD

It was something about that he ate something, and someone ( I think it was a lady) sat beside him and watched him eat, and then he looks at her and smile abit, and then eat again with an serious look in his face. hahah :D but I can't remember which short that was from.. hm.

  • That was from "Shoulder Arms" :D

He ate lunch and a solider sat beside him and watched him eat with a look that says: " Can I get some too..?" x) But Charlie just kept eating. It wasn't a girl, but a solider :D

  • Magnificent again. What a wonderfull tribute you have made. Congratulations.

  • THE GENIUS,THE MASTER,THE MAN.HE'S UNIQUE.Nunca ha habido otro igual ni podra haberlo,ni de lejos.

I do love Charlie Chaplin, Gold Rush and City Ligh make me cry a lot.

    :°°°°(

  • Beautifull work, Chaplin's movies are so poetic, he reveal us the beauty of a simple life, like a child's life.Charlot is apparently only a tramp, but his soul is so rich that can transform the poverty in poetry.Listen also his beautifull musics!

Thanks Charlie for your genius and thanks Linlimes for this tribute.

Ciao and peace and joy for everyone;)

  • OMG at 3:06 he twisted the fat guy's nipples!!LMAO!You GO,Charlie!!!

  • GREAT!

Charles Chaplin, the God of comedy, the best clown, the best in everything!

Great work with the compilation, and great edition.

    Congratulations!

  • Wonderfully done! Chaplin remains the comic

    genius of all time!

  • Gold Rush makes me cry like a bitch! Oh I really do love him, he is slightly camp which is probably why I love him! Nice video, great music, well edited, well done!

    xxx

  • I wouldn't say that it is him being camp, well the tramp being camp. It's more just a sort of lady like daintyness which he tries to use to get his way and it tends not to work. hehe

  • SPLENDIDO CIAO GAZZELLA

  • Often imitated. Never duplicated. Rarely credited. Thanks so much for posting this. Although I'm only in my 30's, I totally grew up on Chaplin on TV (Sunday matinees in Sweden where I grew up), and have long loved him. Thanks again!

  • Golly gosh Chaplin is amazing. I've only just discovered him. I wish movies today were just as brilliant...

  • yeah, Seijaku89 said she cried at the end, and it made me curious and want to watch this pretty long video. Oh my God, I cry too. The last scene contents a very deep meaning of life, but Chaplin made it so simple and wonderful. He is the greatest artist in my opinion. Thanks for making this contribution!

  • I love Charlie Chaplin... The last minutes of your tribute are so beautiful... It makes me cry...

    Thanks! :D

  • I am not used to being thanked when I make someone cry :)

So I hope you are not used to being thanked for crying either :) Thanks for crying :)

  • There's one called Chaplin with Robert Downey Jr. or something. But it's out of print.

  • ENORME. Un grandisimo tributo para el mayor artista del siglo pasado.

  • Oh! I'm so happy I'm the first to comment on this! You have made a beautiful selection and it shows that you worked hard and that you really love Chaplin, the little man with mustachios, a bamboo cane, big shoes and baggy loose pants! He makes us laugh and cry and militates for humanity! Thank you so much for this tribute!
