Eh, they arent Fender's but they do use good Bridges and great pickups, some people just preffer that shape....the whole old school metal kind of stuff i guess, just dont get stuck by those sharp corners

dont waste the money on a DB, theyre not that great at all. Save up a little more and cough up the extra $4-500 for a real razorback, not a USA, but still a real razorback with the set neck, floyd, and overall better quality. Personally, I'm getting a custom Matt Heafy style white/gold Razorback.
