but if you want to use the phone-function, you can switch to vertical mode.

the normal "desktop"-usage and all other standard stuff however is restricted to landscape-mode.

And @ ansing16. Yes the capacitive DOES HAVE higher sensibility, but the NEWER resistive ones are not that much different from the capacitive anymore! You can in fact use the screen with your fingers! However, you can not use a capacitive screen with a stylus even if you wanted to :)
