There are several versions of Vue ranging from Pioneer which is free to Xtreme, which is quite expensive. I believe you can get Vue Xtreme and Infinite personal learning edition for free, but they display the Vue logo in the renders.

@Snipza You can also get it totally free if you get the ple(personal learning edition) of it. It's basically exactly the same except you cant sell what you make with it :/

Hehe - I wish I could play around with it all day... I'm currently a student, but I also work freelance. I create images for people and companies. My last one, for example, was for the front of a magazine called 'Tarosophy International'.

Don't worry, I paid for mine too. Legally, I have to - I use Vue to create my commissioned work. In order to sell the work I create, I have to heave a legal copy.

But...there is a free personal learning edition that features nearly everything in the full version. The only difference is that its a really old version. But you can do everything you saw here in the vid with it. Ill send you the link for it.

Whoa! Thanx, i didn't really think IL get any positive response that fast. Thanks. By the way, I am using a GLASS material on the object, with my glow enabled, you should have it as well, i think if i can make that glass material transparent some how then it should let me animate.

If you do this tutorial i am sure it will resolve many peoples problem.

Hi, i really need some help on Vue6, if anyone can help me it will mean so much. Ok, How do i animate the visibility of an object, i got this polygon logo and i want to make it Invisible so it does not appear in the animation and then later on in the animation i want it to slowly appear. Any one plz help. Thanx.

under help there should be a basic tutorial with a step by step walk through. from there look under your program files on you computer and see if there's a PDF manual. i got both on my copy, and its the free trial. you should have it too.

No, I'm self-taught. Oh, and this music isn't mine, it's Hans Zimmer's (from Stallion: Spirit of the Cimarron).

Vue isn't all that difficult to get to grips with. I'll be making a proper tutorial at some point actually explaining things.

I do make my own music, and I have been asked how I do it, so I might make a tut for that as well, if you're interested.
