you've got vibrato down, but work on the whammy, and try sustaining notes more. i noticed some times where you would let off notes kinda early, and i do it too. its just not pressing as hard the entire time. just some construstive critisim, keep it up

I don't see what everyones bitching about, so what if this kid has an expensive guitar? He can play for fucks sake. I mean, I'm 15 and my first guitar was a telecaster (Squier but its still amazing) that I got last year and then early this year I bought a Jackson RX10D and there both amazing guitar, but there also affordable, and yes I suck at guitar, but this kid is really quite good and someone saw he had talent and bought him the instrument, which in my opinion he deserved.

In my mind improv isn't so much about technique, or even how good it sounds. Its more important to go back and gather the good ideas.

This kind of practice is a good way to learn which notes and intervals achieve the desired effect.

This video had lots of good runs and riffs to work with. It can't be too bad if people think it's fake right?

ok guys remember an improv is just making tunes as you play..obviously hes gonna use some pieces he already knows, or at least base some parts of it off of it..im not saying he improv' on all of it, but the reason it sounds as good as it is is because he bases it off of techniques he already knows. its not like hes never played this style before.

The playing was pretty decent though. maybe work a little on the clarity of the fast runs, that's hard to get down, but it improves your sound by light years.
