In fact, it's quite the opposite: I know many people who decided to start learning how to play the drums after being inspired through playing 'Rock Band'.

Frankly, I kind of get annoyed about that; I've been drumming for years, and suddenly a load of people think they are on the same level after a few hours pushing plastic buttons.

Personally, me being a drummer, I enjoy playing guitar on guitar hero FAR more than I enjoy playing drums on it. The guitar is more rhythmic than a normal guitar, and the drum set for guitar hero is laughable.
