  • My favorite all-time singer as well. Thank you.

  • is that Andrew Gold singing backround? She was so hot...but a total cuntrag.

  • How...oh please tell me HOW did Jerry Brown screw this up. He could have been Mr. Linda Ronstadt! BTW, trolls? Shove your political BS (liberal and conservative) up your collective asses. This is about music...and fantasizing about having sex with Linda back then.

  • How anyone can look at all these dumbass comments, and not want to stare into Lindas big brown eye's is beyond me...............

  • wow I didn't know that Andrew Gold was linda Ronstadt's musical director that's a new fact to me

  • The album Pic where she is lacing her skates WOW ... I stll look at it and I bought it when it1st was released

  • Andrew Gold on the guitar. He said he pissed off his girlfriend because he used to check out Linda's legs before he started playing in her band! lool

  • When I was very little (like 5) we had a Linda Ronstadt 8-track tape and my brother and I played it over and over again hundreds of times -- we had maybe less than a dozen 8-tracks and we liked this one the best.

  • she was hot!!!!!!!

  • fuck her she said very bad things about america she needs to pack up her bags go live in cuba or iran

  • @partyspecialists OH BOO HOO,SOOK.

  • @partyspecialists If you haven't said bad things about "america", there's something wrong with you. Do you support slavery? The mass murder of the Indian population? The stealing of half of Mexico? The killing of about 3 million people in Southeast Asia? The dictatorships of Latin America? The killing of 1 million Iraqis? The destruction of Afghanistan? All of these are directly tied to "america". Please learn a foreign language and live outside the U.S, we'll all be safer.

  • @gruntball do all of us a favor if you live in the USA pack up your shit and move to Iran

  • @partyspecialists I am from California, but have left the U.S., precisely due to the ignorance of people like yourself. Iran, never been there, but Cuba I have, and at least half the countries of Latin America and a bunch of countries in Europe.

Can you please list the countries you've been to? And the languages you speak? I speak 3, understand quite a few more. Please learn a foreign language, our planet needs you to do this.

  • @gruntball you should change your name to cuntball if you hate america your 1 a muslim 2 nazi or 3 fascist or some poor bastard that sits on youtube all day with no work because you food stamps are low

  • @partyspecialists Cuntball, funny, I chuckled, but revealing. You also hate women (51% of the world's population). Muslim, no, I am an atheist. Nazi, no, probably libertarian (not in the American sense of the word, but the traditional sense of the word), fascist (see previous comment). I know the answer, but just for our youtuber colleagues, have you ever left the U.S. (I don't mean military, to kill other people but to understand other people).

  • @gruntball I'm with you, 100%. America right OR wrong is so pathetic and sick a rallying cry these days. Ignorance is NOT bliss most of the time, contrary to the popular saying about it. Oh, and by the way, you left out the worst crime by the European white scum that landed here at Plymouth Rock. The genocide of the native American Indian population.

  • @cbl1948 Thanks. It's always good to know I am not alone. Sometimes, given the dominance of the media, it's really hard to speak the truth.

    saludos

    Gruntball

  • Andrew Gold on guitar. Was Ronstadt's musical director back then, before he left to go solo.

  • I had a crush on Linda Ronstadt when I was young

  • OMG! She was so beautiful. I was a sophomore in high school, had the biggest crush on her. LG, she was yours and you passed on it, crazy dude.

  • She was really cute.

  • we r both Buddy Holly fans...who isn't...shoot 'em I kid :)

  • used to

  • I used to love everything she did

  • I would have loved Linda Ronstadt back then. Now she is just an old, fat pig, has-been.

  • One of my favorite cover songs. This version is really tight, vocally and instrumentally.

  • this girl was and is the real deal, no time on the disney club, she sings from

the heart and whatever she wants to sing is cool with me

  • An incredibly beautiful young woman with a great voice. In retrospect, it is a shame that there was such pressure on her to rock out when her millieu was so obviously C&W and folk.

  • @garylongden

wow Gary, that's a word not used every day..(yes I had to look it up) although you added one too many l's.

I'm not diggin' her latest venture into the Mexican/Mariachi sound.......possibly because I regret not learning Espanol in high school, I think it's more a social statement for the way Mexicans are being treated in her home State, but she could sing the warning label off of a pillow and I'll still listen in awe.

  • Amen Aquaria! Your comments are right on!

Linda Rondstat is smart, beautiful and is a legend because of her incredible voice. How

could anyone say anything negative about

someone like LR who has given the world so much happiness. Thanks for speaking up!

  • yeah she was Communist that's why she married Moonbeam Brown and the Medicine Show

  • @mocus1 She was never married to Jerry Brown. They dated. Marriage was never an option, Brown stated it outright, and Ronstadt didn't think she would fit as a typical DC cocktail wife. They were probably right, because it's clear morons like you would come up with stupid things to hate her over, and lie about her, if it suited you. That's all fascists like you know how to do: LIE.

  • During the 1970s, this woman was the object of desire of every dude in America between the ages of 12 and 35.

  • @arkady714 Between 12 and 80 is probably more like it. She is hot!

  • @arkady714 And Jerry Brown

  • I would say the age group was larger than 12 to 35

It was probably more like 12 to 65

  • I sort of fell in love with this lady. I bought loads of her albums after hearing here sing this. Still think she is the coolest thing since sliced bread.

  • @briwinter2901 I second that emotion.

  • Comment removed

  • @briwinter2901 if u think sliced bread is "cool" than u are not qualified to express opinions about music. like is that supposed to be funny? in the '60's did people laugh if u said "that is cool as sliced bread"? or is that local yocal church approved humor? those christians sure hav a way with words!

  • @EspecialMoviesByJohn Are you twelve years old? It's an expression you moron! Don't you people have anything better to do then leave comments that make you look like an idiot? Obviously you must have clicked on this video because you enjoy it, so if brwinter2901 was giving her praise then why would you put him down? Sometimes I wonder where people's parents went wrong with them... Too bad!

  • @briwinter2901 I fell in love with her voice after hearing Different Drum. I fell in love with her after I saw her face. What a combination.

  • I was five or younger and this song made me straight. Thanks Linda.

  • She was so beautiful in her day.

  • Send those royalty check to Don and Phil Everly.

  • Don, this is for you, can't believe its from 1975.
