There is no arguement that can prove Creationalism, only arguements that show the faults of evolution. Creationalism has no actual scientific data to back it up. It specifically states that life was formed by an "intellegent being".
That isnt science, that is religion; religion is faith, faith is guessing, and guessing isnt truth.
Creationalism is to actual science as Alchemy is to chemistry;
Notice how from the ending of the word alchemy begins the word chemistry.I don't disagree that faith and science are different things, however there was a greek scientist called Pavlos (Paul) Kondilis who tried to depict that every aspect of human spirit activity(philosophy, religion, art and science) had a common start, that there subjectivity exists in science as well.Don't forget that everything is relative (relativity theory).
Why would an intelligent designer build in age if the aim of his creation was to have everyone believe? Why give us fossils that can be scientificly proven old just to trick us into doubting him/her/it? Why give us stories of floods that wiped out humanity and then have a chineese civilization around with writing and an acurate calander that for the thousand years around this supposed world wide flood never stop wring and never mention it? None of this points to intelligence or reson.
I agree Robertson is a nutjob - but the left is wrong in their "science only" approach rooted in Darwinism. The argument they put for is that it's "either / or" faith or reason. A RATIONAL person has BOTH.
Catholicism does not argue against science - in fact it embraces it, and has been involved in many scientific breakthroughs, not the least of which is documented successes in ADULT stem cell research, not to mention Mendel's contribution to genetics.
You are basically using the "end justifies the means" philosophy which misdirects the personal responsibility.
If someone playing Russian Roulette puts a gun to their head and kills themself - is it the Vatican's fault because they support gun owners rights (hypothetically) or the person playing the game ?
You analogy doesn't work because of the degrees of separation between the Vatican>gun rights>the person who shoots himself.
If I had a friend that was suicidal I would certainly bear much responsibility if I left a gun lying within reach and he used it on himself. The relationship between the two actions is more direct. Death and suffering from AIDS, overpopulation etc is a direct consequence of people not using birth control. Many don't use it because the Church tells them not to.
No, the argument is science only in public schools. Teach religeon in churches where it belongs. And creationism deals with the origin of liferight? If this is the case then none of your beef is with Darmin, he was a biologist. Your honest competition if you want to think criticly, is Edwin Hubble, Albert Einstein and Georgr Gamow, all physicists and the men who explained this theory with mathamatics proving the ongoing expansion of the universe. These men are the "origin" argument, not darwin.
Creationism not only deals with the "origin" of life - but also it's end
A scientific approach that believes itself capable of managing without an ethos misunderstands the reality of man. Therefore it is not scientific. Today we need a maximum of specialized (scientific) understanding, but also a maximum of ethos so that specialized understanding may enter the service of the right goals. Only in this way will its knowledge be both politically practicable and socially tolerable. (Pope Benedict)
The meaning and end of life as well as it mysteries are for PHILOSIPHY CLASS NOT A SCIENCE LAB!!!!! There is no other industrialized country in the world that is having this debate. They have recognized that religeon and its teaching belong in ethics courses, philosophy classes, and in churches not in science classes or chemistry labs. We need to move into the twenty first century befor we are permanently left behind.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
To hell with the rest of the world. As Ronald Reagan so eloquently said "America is a shining city on a hill" and that includes moral and ethical leadership ! It was Darwinism that allowed Hitler to view the Jews as he did. Google " From Darwin to Hitler "
A "secular scientist" looks at a fetus and sees a "blob of cells" - a moral person looks at it and sees a PERSON with a SOUL destined to spend eternity with God. One can only see the person through the lens of ethics and morals.
And it was christaimity that wiped out millions of muslims. It was the church that carried out the inquisition. It was puritans who killed innocent women at the Salem witch trials. It is the catholic church who has sealed the agoonizing fate of millions of africans whom they told condoms were against the will of god. And for the recrd after birth we are in essence blobs of cells. A creationist looks at a fossil and sees the handywork of the devil while a scientist looks and sees a history.
Actually he wasn't a catholic, he of course was raised catholic but he abandoned the catholic church later. in Hitler's Secret Table Talks you can find his opinion about christianity which considers it an enemy of the European spirit.
Until you do some research I would strongly advise you to shut the fuck up.
Like the "Hitler Diaries", a proven though for a while convincing forgery the "Secret Table Talks" are rejected by virtually all serous scholars. While the widely published and indisputable Mein Kemph Hitler vilified Darwin, praised Jesus, and swore to bring 'justice' to the Jews. Look it up, just approch the content of Right Wing Fascist sites with skepticism and see through their lies.
He was born into the Catholic church, everyone at that time was born into a church. Hitler was not personally a man of faith in the Christian God, which is a very important distinction. If he had any faith, it was in the German man God's, he was almost pagan.
He sought to de Jew Christ, sought to Arianize Christianity. Why? Because he worshiped Germania, not God. He spat in the face of everything the Bible taught.
You're right, but I think a case could be made that much of mega-church culture in America represents a 'de-jewed' (as you said) Christ. Many people in our country worship an Aggressive God who's Son is not a mystical redeemer, but a comic-book-style hero who'll fight the forces of evil in the (impending) End Times.
We pray before the Super Bowl. That's damn near as bad as praying before a gladiatorial event.
I have only attended one mega church really and it was a pretty liberal "God is Green" type place. what I know of mega churches does not make me thing fascist, rather shallow self help seminars with Christian flavoring, a lot of prosperity gospel crap. You tend to get a lot more of the pre tribulation rapture stuff from smaller baptist and dispensation churches.
The religious right is not nearly as big as it was thirty years ago, for better or worse. Chris Hedges is silly.
@Darusdei i like how Dr. Cornel West And Jesus Christ are preaching.. love and compasion for all human life..black white gay or straight..and fighting for a world where people dont suffer for no reason..(or for a product or a war)
@Darusdei Hitler wasn't a dogmatic Catholic and despite his invocation of god throughout "Mein Kampf", Hitler despised Christianity but found the politicking of the Catholic church useful for manipulating the masses and gaining favor (enter, Pius XII) His cabinet, advisory members and military officers were unarguably predominantly Catholic and like Hitler invoked a higher power in their motives "(gott mit uns" on SS belt buckles etc).
The pope actively protected child molesters, first by allowing them to be moved around to avoid detection, and then by stonewalling investigations into their activities. This is not what I would consider the "moral compass" amyone would want pointing the way. Condoms bad boy fucking........well that I can look the other way for. Diplorable.
I agree with Hedges on most things, but not on evolution. Catholics, for instance might not want evolution taught, because they believe it's yet to be proven - but they're not pushing to substitute Creationism either -because that's not science, it's faith, and they never expected public schools to get into that.
Words. Where's your missing link? What happened to all the vestigial organs? Wasn't the human foetus supposed to have passed through all the evolutionary stages? You're a bunch of cartoon phonies. Go back to the Carnivals with your squirt guns.
Two words - prove it. You guys are extremely scrupulous when it comes to proof of a Creator, but any evolutionary theory that comes down the pike you welcome with open arms. Know thyself.
Humans, all humans, in eutro have a tail until the sex is determined by the chromosomes. Look at human beings today as compared to even 1000 yrs ago. We are on avg a foot taller and our comprehension skills had improved by 2000%. And the plants chain of evolution is rock solid. Going back hundreds of thousands of generations of plants we can see that the first flowering plants looked nothing like those we have today because they evolved to fit the envirnment fo their survival.
Why the fuck does this bitch speak out of the side of her mouth. She spews liberal bullshit out of one side of her mouth, and fortunately for us cant spew it out the other!
We are a Republic, not a democracy you dumb fucks. Go back to school and read our constitution and bill of rights. Where is the word democracy used in any of our founding documents? IT ISN'T CAUSE WE ARN'T A DEMOCRACY.
3rdWorldCrusader: Before you call me a moron, go read our constitution and bill of rights and all founding documents of this country and show me the word democracy anywhere. You can't.
You may find our founding fathers describe how terrible a democracy as a form of government is, though.
Your partially right. However, you have to be careful with your semantics. The U.S. was indeed formed as a republic, not just a repulic but what is known as a Constitutional Republic or a Federal Republic. Furthermore, the U.S. is also a Representitve Democracy in a very real philosophical and political sense; This is obviously demonstrated by certain aspects of our processes, for example, our priciples of sovereignty, the way our elections are held, and certain liberties which are protected.
Yes, and in some instnces a governer has the total say-so, so why not call us a dictatorship country? Any insistance on calling us a democracy is limiting what we are to a simplistic (feels good to the ignorant sheeple) definition that is wrong. We are a republic, and your definiton is very good, but to pick out one piece of how we do business, and use it as "we are a" definition is an attempt to change what we are, and I think it sux. Partial? Only looking for excuse to call us a democracy.
The far lefts say there is a far right movement trying 2 move us N2 facism, altho no 1 seems 2 B able 2 find this movement. Its obvious we have the far lefts trying 2 move us N2 Communism. I guess we have some right extremist lunatics & some left extremist lunatics. Thank God an overwhelming majority of Americans R somewhere N the middle.
Have you ever heard of a spellchecker? Its illiterate, ignorant americans like you who are endangering your country's democracy. And I don't know anyone who wants to move towards communism, its been proven a failure many times over. Welcome to the 21st century.
Yes, Einstein, I've heard of spell check. I suppose with that 1/2 brain cell U have U think I can spell overwhelming, communism, etc, & do not no how 2 spell one, too, to, be, etc? Ever heard of text messaging & how ppl write N chat rooms? Get with the 21st century!
There R no Christians, fileboy, who want 2 take over the US gov/the world. Christians have just as much right 2 put their 2 cents N with our congress as any1 else & they've been doing just that since the US was born. Now we R only about 75% of the population when we used 2 B N the 90s when this country was a great country. Now that ppl R falling away from Christianity this country is falling 2 just as some of our founding fathers said it would if this happened.
What happened, fileboy, when Bush nominated Harriet Miers 4 judge? The media went on & on about how religious she was yet the far rights wouldnt accept her. They said she was not qualified 4 the job. They were not interested N how religious she was. I have been a Democrat my entire life but I am not blinded as 2 what these far left extremists R trying 2 do. Extremism is dangerous N any guise. Dont believe the far left propaganda.
FreedomLover4Ever : "Dont believe the far left propaganda."
I agree, but the problem is all the mainstream media is just that, and thats where most people get their political education. It certainly isn't in our schools, they make sure we are as ignorant about our government as possible.
My opinion is that the Christian Fascists are the very people in Revelation that take over the world, change the truth, and force people to bow to the lies they create. Anyone who does not bow will not be allowed to eat or live in peace. The bible is very clear to point out that these are not REAL Christians, but are false prophets.
Christians believe N the end days, they R supposed 2 B persecuted. The way the far lefts R trying 2 do Christians N this country is exactly as what Hitler did 2 the Jews. Christians do not believe they R ever 2 rule this world. Christians fought & died 4 the freedoms we enjoy 2day. It was a Baptist preacher at Maddisons side insisting on the Bill of Rights.
I'm not sure what you are trying to say. I just wanted to point out to you that "Christians" have already ruled the world, and most would say in secret that they still do. The Catholic Church ruled the ENTIRE world for a very long time, and it sent us all into the dark ages.
& the cure 2 all of that was separation of church & state which is exactly what the Christians N America fought & died 2 have. It seems 2 B human nature 2 become corrupt when given any power. We C Muslims going thru this 2day. It wasn't atheists who fought & died 4 our freedoms. It was Christians who wanted all 2 have free will.
I agree!! I am not religious but what you say is very true. Ask any Political Science Prof. or and person who studies law extensively and they will say the same thing.
However, freedom from religion does not mean that we shouldn't teach evolution in public schools. We should teach what is the most useful for scientific advancement and the theory of evolution, though imperfect like all science, is still the best theory to use in explaining human life.
Darwinism as generally presented is not science either. It is more like doctinal science. Science people get about two fingers outside the box. Many established science people are not all that bright. Here is a kind of open ended way to say it: We mirror the greater universe in ways more complex than we can detect.
It makes me feel so safe to know that our leaders believe that tactical nukes are an answer. What is it mean when they put their position ahead of everyone else's life? I think it might mean they're leaders.
SOme of you are really blind to the fact that Nazism(christian right)are the real enemy of the world.Everyone promotes harmoney except these people. They promote White supremacy in the name of God and that is wrong.Their hold in crumbling quickly as more more people see the truth.I see right through their lies very easily and im not muslim.
Its very hard, boertush, 2 tell the far left extremists from the Muslim terrorists/ extremists N this day & time b/c they usually sound identical. In fact, the far lefts R only 2nd 2 Muslim t/e on the list of committing the most terrorist attacks N the world. Extremism is dangerous N any guise.
I think he has great inside perspective on the ultra right religious aspect of America. I, however, caution myself that this is a niche in christian groups and is not the group as a whole. If this group had such a majoritiy we would have never seen a roe vs. wade let alone legalization of abortion (me thinks???)..
Roe vs Wade was decided by the courts before these extreme right Christians had come into power (decided in 1973). With the recent installment of justices friendly toward the groups Hedges is talking about, these groups, using the government as proxy, can now begin dissolving Roe vs Wade. This is proven with the recent ruling against second tri-mester abortions, and with the incoming law barring women from abortions even if pregnancy would be detrimental to their health.
I'm all for abortion being a viable option if it threatens the life of the mother. I'm against abortion for people who use it as a form of birth control. I guess I can say I don't really LIKE the "morning after pill", but I also don't believe that a day old fertilized egg is actually a human..YET. As for late-term abortions, I don't get that. Why wait so long? Unless it's detrimental to their health, they should choose to put it up for adoption instead.
Granted, it's not always an easy life for the child, but at least it's a chance to live. That's my opinion, but I'm STILL for the freedom to choose. People should be free to make their own choices. I don't like the idea of laws being passed that tell people what they can and cannot do with their own bodies.
Why doesn't he talk about the hardcore Islamic fundamentalists as well? Does he think they don't exist? I'm really wondering what's worse.. a religious fascism that may or may not happen sometime in the future (ergo speculative intellectual mysticalism) or a religious fascism that ALREADY EXISTS TODAY in Iran and Saudi Arabia and seeks to spread its evil fascism throughout the world??
I understand your point, but the book is about American Fascists. Really if you compare ideologies between Islamic radicals and Christian radicals, they are practically the same thing. Granted Christian radicals aren't strapping bombs on their chests, but they are more than willing to wage huge military campaigns, and they are every bit as intolerant to those outside of their belief system.
we are aware of how dangerous muslim fascists are but we are not aware of how christion fascists can destroy democracy from the inside.
if these muslims somehow take over the world you know you've lost your freedom and people will fight it. But when christian fascists take over you don't, you'll still believe you live in freedom but in reality you don't, which is far worse because nobody would fight this fake freedom
Boertush do you believe people are stupid? i believe most people can tell the difference between real tyranny and the kind of tyranny that leftists and socialist zealots like to pander around. its like the boy who cried wolf. When you see a muslim tyrant, its a real wolf, you cry wolf and its a wolf. When christians start beheading people for switching religions get back to me
you missed my point, by hating radical muslims it is easier for radical christians to gain power, only radical christians aren't considered 'evil', that is the problem. Rather then 'the boy who cried wolf' it is more like 'the wolf in sheepclothes', you won't see it coming until it opens it's mouth. and about the christians beheading part, before hitler started killing jews a lot of stuff happened and the germans aren't stupid either
Christian fascists are not beheading people right now because, thankfully, we have laws in place to prevent them from doing so. However, they are earnestly trying to rewrite those laws. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, for example, has recently said that "government is the executor of God's Will". We are very close to eliminating the separation of church and state and when that's done there will be nothing to stop them.

ImTheGrey 3 years ago
I agree Robertson is a nutjob - but the left is wrong in their "science only" approach rooted in Darwinism. The argument they put for is that it's "either / or" faith or reason. A RATIONAL person has BOTH.
Catholicism does not argue against science - in fact it embraces it, and has been involved in many scientific breakthroughs, not the least of which is documented successes in ADULT stem cell research, not to mention Mendel's contribution to genetics.
jbryant13 3 years ago
Then why Catholics preach that using condoms is wrong? How many people has that policy killed?
grafactor 3 years ago
You are basically using the "end justifies the means" philosophy which misdirects the personal responsibility.
If someone playing Russian Roulette puts a gun to their head and kills themself - is it the Vatican's fault because they support gun owners rights (hypothetically) or the person playing the game ?
THINK it through
jbryant13 3 years ago
You analogy doesn't work because of the degrees of separation between the Vatican>gun rights>the person who shoots himself.
If I had a friend that was suicidal I would certainly bear much responsibility if I left a gun lying within reach and he used it on himself. The relationship between the two actions is more direct. Death and suffering from AIDS, overpopulation etc is a direct consequence of people not using birth control. Many don't use it because the Church tells them not to.
grafactor 3 years ago 2
No, the argument is science only in public schools. Teach religeon in churches where it belongs. And creationism deals with the origin of liferight? If this is the case then none of your beef is with Darmin, he was a biologist. Your honest competition if you want to think criticly, is Edwin Hubble, Albert Einstein and Georgr Gamow, all physicists and the men who explained this theory with mathamatics proving the ongoing expansion of the universe. These men are the "origin" argument, not darwin.
ImTheGrey 3 years ago
Creationism not only deals with the "origin" of life - but also it's end
A scientific approach that believes itself capable of managing without an ethos misunderstands the reality of man. Therefore it is not scientific. Today we need a maximum of specialized (scientific) understanding, but also a maximum of ethos so that specialized understanding may enter the service of the right goals. Only in this way will its knowledge be both politically practicable and socially tolerable. (Pope Benedict)
jbryant13 3 years ago
The meaning and end of life as well as it mysteries are for PHILOSIPHY CLASS NOT A SCIENCE LAB!!!!! There is no other industrialized country in the world that is having this debate. They have recognized that religeon and its teaching belong in ethics courses, philosophy classes, and in churches not in science classes or chemistry labs. We need to move into the twenty first century befor we are permanently left behind.

One can only see the person through the lens of ethics and morals.
jbryant13 3 years ago

What about the Israelis' policies towards the Palestinians? How come that creates so much anger towards the Muslim world with our support?
NYJared04 2 years ago
@chukmaty

@plainPLAIDplain

Cornel West And Jesus Christ are preaching.. love and compasion for all human life..black white gay or straight..and fighting for a world where people dont suffer for no reason..(or for a product or a war)
tanvo93 9 months ago
@Darusdei Hitler wasn't a dogmatic Catholic and despite his invocation of god throughout "Mein Kampf", Hitler despised Christianity but found the politicking of the Catholic church useful for manipulating the masses and gaining favor (enter, Pius XII) His cabinet, advisory members and military officers were unarguably predominantly Catholic and like Hitler invoked a higher power in their motives "(gott mit uns" on SS belt buckles etc).
Spot on w the rest of what you said.

I agree with Hedges on most things, but not on evolution. Catholics, for instance might not want evolution taught, because they believe it's yet to be proven - but they're not pushing to substitute Creationism either -because that's not science, it's faith, and they never expected public schools to get into that.
bammbamm12 3 years ago
Evolution has been proven, many times over for many yeahs.
DefaultPosition 3 years ago
*years.
Science doesn't use "proofs", only mathematics does.
Evolution is a group of facts, evolutionary theory is a scientific theory that explains those facts.
Please do not be misled by the word "theory". In a science context theories are the very highest achievement. Theories never become facts or laws.
Use of the word "fact" in every day conversation is very different to use of the word in science.
Check out the word "theory" in Wikipedia for its different uses.

You may find our founding fathers describe how terrible a democracy as a form of government is, though.
JRBeaman 4 years ago
Your partially right. However, you have to be careful with your semantics. The U.S. was indeed formed as a republic, not just a repulic but what is known as a Constitutional Republic or a Federal Republic. Furthermore, the U.S. is also a Representitve Democracy in a very real philosophical and political sense; This is obviously demonstrated by certain aspects of our processes, for example, our priciples of sovereignty, the way our elections are held, and certain liberties which are protected.
billdaddy26 3 years ago
Yes, and in some instnces a governer has the total say-so, so why not call us a dictatorship country? Any insistance on calling us a democracy is limiting what we are to a simplistic (feels good to the ignorant sheeple) definition that is wrong. We are a republic, and your definiton is very good, but to pick out one piece of how we do business, and use it as "we are a" definition is an attempt to change what we are, and I think it sux. Partial? Only looking for excuse to call us a democracy.
JRBeaman 3 years ago
A Republic is a form of democracy. There is direct democracy and representative democracy (which is what the US has in its DEMOCRATIC republic.)
It is unfortunate that you do not know that the US is a democracy. However, it is not surprising considering the other false assertions you have made.

My opinion is that the Christian Fascists are the very people in Revelation that take over the world, change the truth, and force people to bow to the lies they create. Anyone who does not bow will not be allowed to eat or live in peace. The bible is very clear to point out that these are not REAL Christians, but are false prophets.
Omiris 4 years ago 2
Christians believe N the end days, they R supposed 2 B persecuted. The way the far lefts R trying 2 do Christians N this country is exactly as what Hitler did 2 the Jews. Christians do not believe they R ever 2 rule this world. Christians fought & died 4 the freedoms we enjoy 2day. It was a Baptist preacher at Maddisons side insisting on the Bill of Rights.
FreedomLover4Ever 4 years ago
I'm not sure what you are trying to say. I just wanted to point out to you that "Christians" have already ruled the world, and most would say in secret that they still do. The Catholic Church ruled the ENTIRE world for a very long time, and it sent us all into the dark ages.
Omiris 4 years ago
& the cure 2 all of that was separation of church & state which is exactly what the Christians N America fought & died 2 have. It seems 2 B human nature 2 become corrupt when given any power. We C Muslims going thru this 2day. It wasn't atheists who fought & died 4 our freedoms. It was Christians who wanted all 2 have free will.
FreedomLover4Ever 4 years ago

However, freedom from religion does not mean that we shouldn't teach evolution in public schools. We should teach what is the most useful for scientific advancement and the theory of evolution, though imperfect like all science, is still the best theory to use in explaining human life.

Darwinism as generally presented is not science either. It is more like doctinal science. Science people get about two fingers outside the box. I think he has great inside perspective on the ultra right religious aspect of America. I, however, caution myself that this is a niche in christian groups and is not the group as a whole. If this group had such a majoritiy we would have never seen a roe vs. wade let alone legalization of abortion (me thinks???)..
kokororyu 4 years ago 2
Roe vs Wade was decided by the courts before these extreme right Christians had come into power (decided in 1973). With the recent installment of justices friendly toward the groups Hedges is talking about, these groups, using the government as proxy, can now begin dissolving Roe vs Wade. This is proven with the recent ruling against second tri-mester abortions, and with the incoming law barring women from abortions even if pregnancy would be detrimental to their health.
JadenTalil 4 years ago
I'm all for abortion being a viable option if it threatens the life of the mother. I'm against abortion for people who use it as a form of birth control. I guess I can say I don't really LIKE the "morning after pill", but I also don't believe that a day old fertilized egg is actually a human..YET. As for late-term abortions, I don't get that. Why wait so long? Unless it's detrimental to their health, they should choose to put it up for adoption instead.
argos332 4 years ago
Granted, it's not always an easy life for the child, but at least it's a chance to live. That's my opinion, but I'm STILL for the freedom to choose. People should be free to make their own choices. I don't like the idea of laws being passed that tell people what they can and cannot do with their own bodies.
argos332 4 years ago
Why doesn't he talk about the hardcore Islamic fundamentalists as well? Does he think they don't exist? I'm really wondering what's worse.. a religious fascism that may or may not happen sometime in the future (ergo speculative intellectual mysticalism) or a religious fascism that ALREADY EXISTS TODAY in Iran and Saudi Arabia and seeks to spread its evil fascism throughout the world??
Salodrak 4 years ago
I understand your point, but the book is about American Fascists. Really if you compare ideologies between Islamic radicals and Christian radicals, they are practically the same thing. Granted Christian radicals aren't strapping bombs on their chests, but they are more than willing to wage huge military campaigns, and they are every bit as intolerant to those outside of their belief system.
framedanddry 4 years ago
we are aware of how dangerous muslim fascists are but we are not aware of how christion fascists can destroy democracy from the inside.
if these muslims somehow take over the world you know you've lost your freedom and people will fight it. But when christian fascists take over you don't, you'll still believe you live in freedom but in reality you don't, which is far worse because nobody would fight this fake freedom
boertush 4 years ago
Boertush do you believe people are stupid? i believe most people can tell the difference between real tyranny and the kind of tyranny that leftists and socialist zealots like to pander around. its like the boy who cried wolf. When you see a muslim tyrant, its a real wolf, you cry wolf and its a wolf. When christians start beheading people for switching religions get back to me
Salodrak 4 years ago
you missed my point, by hating radical muslims it is easier for radical christians to gain power, only radical christians aren't considered 'evil', that is the problem. Rather then 'the boy who cried wolf' it is more like 'the wolf in sheepclothes', you won't see it coming until it opens it's mouth. and about the christians beheading part, before hitler started killing jews a lot of stuff happened and the germans aren't stupid either
boertush 4 years ago
Christian fascists are not beheading people right now because, thankfully, we have laws in place to prevent them from doing so. However, they are earnestly trying to rewrite those laws. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, for example, has recently said that "government is the executor of God's Will". We are very close to eliminating the separation of church and state and when that's done there will be nothing to stop them.
