you cut out the part where it cuts back to the other locke inside and makes a CHINK! noise in the soundtrack and your looking at this thing walking around that you now know is not really john and i was just so gobsmacked what i was watching that i dont think i have ever had so many chills and hairs syand up on my neck, as soon as it cut back to locke, i had a feeeling that it was the man we saw at the start with jacob, then when he said 'you have no idea what i have gone through to be here' :O

Biggest WTF-moment in Lost. Season 6 is going to be epic. Afterwards there will be no words to describe the impact Lost had on a lot of people. I think tears will be wasted after the last episode. Can't believe it'll soon all be over.

i think it makes sense that the smoke could have takne over lockes body cause if u noitce in the entire series, the smoke has killed every person it comes in contact with except kate and juliet which they were saved by the shield from the other camp, but other then that it has killed everyone except locke, i think thats when the smoke decided to use locke has the loophole to kill jacob

Locke is dead. Thhe only way he's alive is if he's sharing a mind with the dark-haired guy the hates Jacob. Not sure if him and the Smoke is the same thing. The save us all thing I think is about Jacob because he lives "in the shadow of the statue" it seems. I think jacob is good, dark Lockeis evilm although it could turn out the other way around by the end of Season 6 for all we know.

The real John Locke might be truly dead, but even though as of right now his death seems pointless, or "a waste", I'd be willing to bet you anything that by the end of the series, that will be the farthest thing from the truth.

Not quite. If he is dead for good now and does not ever come back, it is actually a brilliantly written tragedy of some sorts. Locke spends his whole life thinking he is special only to have life constantly slap him around in the face, and when he finally does believe he finds his destiny, it is in fact all setup for him to be used as a pawn by whoever is impersonating John Locke.

While I personally hope he does return, that is just the kind of cruel fate I would expect for a character on Lost.

Well if this truely was the end of the John Lock character I guess we can go away with feeling that maybe his destiny was simply to get everybody back on the island for the big final showdown. It's just still urking me that the creators kind of just gave the middle finger to a beloved character like that. But then again, he is the most tragic character on the show so it kinda fits.

Definitely. No matter how much you think the Locke (the character) should have stayed on further, his death only serves to boost the themes of the show, i.e. ones of destiny, fate, tragedy, etc.

What if (and this is just a shot in the dark) Jacob and other guy we see in the first scene by the statue - are not the tue bodys of Jacob and OG? What if they ae entities who take over other peoples appearences when they die?

So Adam and Eve could be Jacob and OG's skeletons (the guys they look like on the beach) - remember one had a white stone the other had a black.

I think the stones are huge, notice same colors worn by jacob and the other guy in the first scene. Light vs shadow, i think that the basis of the show will come down to this, sort of a giant test to see if mankind is essentially good or evil.

I hope that's not how Lock's journy ends. It just seems so cruel to end a beloved character on that note. He was built up as being something special, then we find out he was nothing, just a vessel for Jacobs enemy to kill him. However I'm hoping Jacob had a loophole of his own. I think Jacob will actually still be dead, we'll get him in flashbacks but nothing more but I think with his death that will somehow bring the real lock back to us. Or so I hope.

They better not kill Ben in Season 6. That would be terrible. Ben has to realize the huge mistake he has made. I think when Ben and Fake Locke walk out, Fake Lock will become a bird or the smoke monster and dissappear. He is afraid of "they are coming." I think " They " are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer, Jin and Miles. I think Sayid did not make it, he will die. Maybe Sayid and Juliet are probably Adam and Eve now. Adam and Even could be Charlotte and Daniel.

That is truem, but I'd imagine the actors are told if their characters have been killed off. I'm sure Damon and Carlton would have told him if he'd just be playing a different character, plus we were told on DarkUFO there was going to be a "major" death in the finale that would not happen in the way we expected so it would seem to fit it was Locke.
