Not under the old Code or new Code. Connection on floor requires that both skills are saltos. Technically, a backhandspring is not a salto, meaning there would be no connection bonus for back handsprings, regardless of what they're connected to.

ya thats what i dont like about the new code. only combination value you can get now is ascending strength moves, not crazy swings like this one.

Actually, under the 2009 - 2012 Code, there's no connection on rings at all anymore, not even for ascending strength moves. Connection's only available for saltos on floor (D + A / B / C = 0.1, D + D or higher = 0.2) and on highbar for on-bar + release or release + release.
