This man is typical of many gay republicans. Very hypocritical, even willing to advance people that will discriminate against you for who you are. Anyway, they are the minority, albeit a considerable minority among gays.

In this case that gentleman was not the right person to have this type of argument with, instead the broadcasters, should had have a debate over the phone and himself from the studio with someone who he elected, who would be able to give better answers regarding this mattar, rather than a public embarrassment, instead of a exchange of ideas base on policies. english is not my first language.

They are people, who are just not well educated regarding politics or law, and when they have a argument against somebody that is educated in this issues, in this case the broadcaster, this is what happens, the none educated one plays a fool out of himself, for lack of knowledge and a very low understanding of social issues, and how the laws affect the culture of a country and the behaviour of the people in general.

That caller is just sad and, frankly, pretty pathetic. He doesn't understand history or how much easier his life is due to the struggles of those in the civil rights movement. He takes many of his rights for granted because he doesn't understand they didn't just magically appear but had to be fought for.

He's just being consistent with his libertarian ideology in terms of accommodations (employment, hotels, etc.). Stupid but consistent. Where he's inconsistent is his reservation of the term marriage to man and woman. If we had non-discriminatory civil unions for everyone on the state level and then marriage as a religious institution, the fight would become intrademonational. But he wants het-only religious marriage besides his ridiculous idea that marriage should be only religious. My 2¢.
