That takes a lot of dedication to pass up a buck like that...you must have some giants walking around. He's a great buck - looks every bit of a 160 class buck to me. Where I hunt / photograph 150-160 is about as much as you can ask for in a lifetime. Most never even see a deer of that class let alone harvest one. We aim for 3 1/2 & older & within the Pope & Young range.
usually i'm nice about this, but, your a dumb ass. For one your are horrible at scoring, yes the video isn't great but still. we found his shed's and he was almost 170. Learn to score.
@weakwork i watch 135 class bucks regularly and i score the bucks for a competition... that buck is def bigger than my 159 class last year.. you need to go get some sheds and learn to score!
prolly why you would never get the chance to shoot a deer of that quality, i see them every day. i get to see deer over 200 completely wild no genetic breeding
Great job of management. It's nice to hear someone show a willingness to take the risk that a predator, a car, or something else might kill that buck before he's aged a couple more years, but still have the discipline not to take him when he's so small, yet showing potential.
he's actually in the 170s, we found his sheds, but yeah we are a very intensly managed ranch. if it is under 4 it won't die. and a deer over 150 has to be at least 6
150-160 my guess, he doesnt have any brows hardly at all, i believe he is a tad under 160 and some mulie in him as well
