You should know better than to play your guitar with a ferret inside it..... thats really irresponsible, and you dont deserve to have neither the ferret or the guitar. That could have potentially permanently damaged your ferrets hearing!

rotfllol, how many times does this guy have to say it? she's curious, and can get out if she wanted to. ferrets are notorious for getting into (and out of) things. you can TELL when a ferret is angry or upset, this one clearly is not. if you've ever owned a ferret then you'd know this to be true.

@TheSkeepondotcom Likely, the ferret crawled in on its own. A ferret can squeeze into any area it can get its head through - holes as small as an inch or two - they are little houdinis. I have watched mine crawl under doors and into spaces I thought impossible while watching them play. While I don't know if it likes being inside during the music, or how good that is for the instrument itself, I do know it can get in and out on its own.

Ferrets have very sensitive hearing. I know because I have one. Obviously, if you're playing the guitar, even he wants to leave, he won't. This is clearly torture for him! You shouldn't do it again.

@pam5pack You are right, ferrets do have very sensitive hearing. However I have seen my share of ferrets that are unhappy, scared, angry, and so forth. The ferret seems more curious about the moving strings than it does getting itself out. It did not try to bit at either his fingers or the strings either so thats another good sign that the ferret didn't want out. Ferrets are very odd little creatures at times, but from watching how it reacted int eh video it seems to be perfectly alright.

Ferrets are funny things, they like to get into all sorts of places, its only natural for them, since they live in burrows. So if you get a ferret, be prepared to find them in all sorts of places around the house!
