  • Its the amber nectar mate.

  • I heard somewhere that this was based upon an incident that really happened. This stuff happens all the time. It could be you, or a best friend. Your son or daughter, your sister or brother, or your mother or father. And if not yours, someone else's. Think about it.

  • Jesus fuckin' christ! Australians DO NOT fuck about with their scare-the-fuck-out-of-the-peasants ads!! lol

  • OH GOD EWW WTF EWWW EWW OH GOSH WTF D;

  • LMFAO

  • man this makes me think... all those times i was failing to give way, all those times i didn't leave enough space between me and the car in front.. i wasn't doing anything wrong but speeding! It makes me safe to know that so long as i'm not speeding i can't cause accidents like this. think of all the babies i'm saving by not going 5kph over the limit!

  • hey! anbody notice that robotic fake baby in the vid!

  • bullshit.... i dont overtake someone if its that close!

  • mortal kombat 9 banned

  • @Timic83tgwtg your FUCKING hilarious.

  • They shud show ads like this in uk. But then again the addled brains behind the wheel of their chosen weapons wouldn't take them in anyway.big up to those that drive safely:)

  • OMG The baby almost made me cry :( what is wrong with the Aussies?

  • @thatwasweird95 nothings wrong, these 'shock' ads have assisted in the reduction of road deaths and accidents in this country. I would rather horrible advertisments than have a higher number of road death/injury or trauma any day. Though, when these style ads first aired they did cause a great deal of debate in the community.

  • that was horrible...they don't sugarcoat it, maybe it's best that way when you're dealing with these things.

  • Hahahaha LMAO! Bitch should have run! Simple.

  • She should have moved....

  • @drunkencovers im sorry that would of been a good idea but unfornaly if she moved she still wouldnt make it nice to see you care about people though thank you we should have more people like you in the world god bless the world wht i it coming to heh?

  • wait what? he was driving 5-10 kmh over the limit and crashed into the red car?

how slow was the red car driving 40?

  • LOVE my nissan s14 turbo =D

    BURNOUTS

  • the fastest iv gone is 210

    BURNOUTS

  • BURNOUTS

  • BURNOUTS

  • BURNOUTS

  • BURNOUTS

  • oh my god that's so scary!

but i guess that's what they're trying to do, so their point gets across well. it works!!... :O

  • The cause is good, but this was not a good advert.

  • This is so sad

  • Anyone who laughs at this is sick in the head. Road kill like this ain't a joke.

  • over here thease accidents dont make the news or papers just clean the roads and get on with it

  • How come there are no adverts like this where I live?

  • I can see where you don't want to watch a bunch of these in a row. I respect that some feel they go too far. Yet these ads are a far cry from the old "HIGHWAY OF BLOOD" crap they treated us to in high school in the USA. Taking the time to get some decent acting in, and to show with equal graphic measure the shattered lives that radiate out from shattered bodies, truly bring it home. One death destroys so much, and yet again and again we indulge the horrendous cost of just "being in a hurry".

  • JESUS CHRSIT! this is some fucked up shit

  • When I lived in Australia, they used to see similar ads about drunk driving and cigarette smoking as well. It's kind of a mixed feeling. I appreciate that they are really driving home how horrible bad decisions can turn out...but then again just watching such things is traumatic in and of themselves. Australia used to show much more traumatic anti-speeding ads that made me have to shield my eyes and ears to keep the anxiety down. It begs the question...how forthright should these sort of ads be?

  • holy fucking shit! I don't remember this advertisement!

  • LOL

  • I was fine with it until they showed the baby.....

  • TBH this add is touchy hats off 2 whom who made it

  • its funny when speeding only accounts for around 5% of the Australian road toll...the speed kills is just a revenue raiser...reason why speed limits are lower than whats recommended so ppl are more likely to speed = more fines and more money

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awww! :'(

you see the mother saving her baby by turning the pram away from the car.

  • @F0shizzle28 you can download it form lemonparty org, just copy the link of the vid, and paste it on that page, you can download it form there.

    Or maybe en downthisvideo com

  • this made me cry we watched it at school :( x

  • Ooo myy gosh

    That was so scary

  • people who speed fucking should watch this, you want to live to see a fucking dying baby? Huh!? You're sooooo badass with your overfucked cars and shit. FUCK YOU

  • I would an Hero after such a nasty crash like that!! Australian Vehicle Safety ads are like this, same goes for Occupational Health and Safety ads and Tobacco Ads. got me off smoking!

  • The dad would probably rot in jail for the rest of his life, the baby will grow up either motherless or be raised by the aunt/uncle/grandparents, and the driver's wife will now have to adjust to life as a single mother...

  • LMFAO HAHAHAHAHA That was classic..

  • its an ad. obviously there is going to be faults. gosh people get to into it!

  • poor baby with no mom

  • How the fuck did he clip that old red holden, was the guy blind or something, when he changed lanes at that speed did he not see a fucking car there or something, and if the idiot kept going straight when he changed lanes instead of trying to swerve out of the holdens way, he wouldn't of span out. This guy can't drive for shit. Typical fucking camry driver. Gets the message out, but none the less a stupid, unlikely to happen ad.

  • you called the guy driving a motorist. it was a guy in a CAR.

  • @imblue36752100 yer someone driving a car IS called a motorist. DUH

  • @nikischulz - OH, REALLY!?!?!?

  • HOLY SHIT

  • Not sure if anyone else noticed, but the child was also too little for being in the front seat.

    A good example of irresponsibility.

  • OMFG!!!

  • ok . i have to say that video is great, cos' for about 3 secondes my heart stopped, and it really shocked me. i don't wanna have to think about whether it's a fake or if the whole thing makes people laugh, because it really served it's purpose on me. so just for that , well done.

  • Why can't they make an accurate portrayal of the aftermath of a pedestrian collision, they seem to want to cotton wool people to what will really happen.

  • i dont get how it is funny ppl should get diss seriously

  • lol

    wdf!

    too much

  • im a brit and i think this advert is slightly funny but really harsh too, like at 0:43 that was horrid i actually went f**k me cus it was sick and horrid :/

  • stupid bitch shouldve watched where she was walking

  • @indigodingobongo she was walking on the FOOTPATH!! dumb ass

  • I really liked this ad. I think it was so effective.

  • Lol I laughed.

  • your fucking sick, go back to ur basement emo. >:(

  • Lol, can somebody take this ad seriously because...

    1. The guy loses control of the car when speeding over the limit by 10 km/h

    2. The baby's cry is just hilarious, everybody can tell it's fake.

    3. The guy can't drive, you don't brake and try to evade at the same time. It's either, brake or evade. And in that scenario the braking one would be a better choice since there is no room to evade. And consider the distances, lose 10km/h in 10 metres? Impossible? I doubt that.

    Video's idea is good tho.

  • The QLD government need to spend more on these ads and not buying totally unmarked speed cameras. Does the government want to STOP people speeding or CATCH people speeding?

  • you gotta hand it to the Aussies; the adverts get you right where it hurts

  • @bus140808 ya in the nuts

  • i think the ad is effective. Similar to the early ad for aids (although that was before we knew much about it) it made you sit up and listen. And it made you weary of the issues. Shock value can be the most effective advertising.

  • i hate this ad 0:45 glad its off the tv my dad once ran over a kid he ran out infront of a car and dad didnt see him now the kid is in a wheelchair for life

  • what a dumb thing to say... all countries drink and drive, not just the aussies. sounds like you have issues...

  • Did I say its only the Aussies that drink and drive? No, prick. I'm meant in general!

  • some brits are dicks. real dicks.

  • And Some Aussies are cunts, real cunts! (not fake ones).

  • 77 in a 70 zone; right thats the sole cause. Not the tailgating, not the abrupt lane change, not the fact that the driver was impatient due to being in a hurry. Not that Australian states have a tendency to build roads to feel like you're traveling slowly at the speed limit, when there's nothing stopping roads from being engineered in a manner that drivers are not inclined to travel fast. None of that. It was the indicated 77 in a 70 zone. when Australian speedos only have to be accurate to 10%

  • @alextact

ye was thinking exactly the same, the speed was the least of the problems

  • omg that was disgusting! omg i cant even say how sick that was. god australians think of some crazy shit....pretty strange saying that while i am one.

  • Wow, that made me cry :(

  • LMAO.

I find these ridiculous... australia has some of the worst rates in the world for accidents and yet the slowest speed limits. Research has shown that lower speed limits do no reduce the number of accidents. (Germany 2003 report)

  • Fuck you if you think this is "funny." Seriously, you have NO fucking clue what it's like till you have someone you love die because of stupid ass drivers. So keep your god damn mouth shut.

  • @blacksharpie99 lololololololololololol death is fun

  • @ChelseaTheFlareon you laugh at yourself? you laugh at constant repetitive death? why don't you get the message, if people like you don't understand a simple easy to understand driving recommendation, then you seriously are looking to crash into your best friend, or maybe a happy family who are just driving from a day out, or somebody you've never met before

do us all a favour, don't you dare laugh about a serious campaign to reduce careless death, ever

    understood?

  • @StitchV2 Dude, seriously, shut the fuck up. One I don't know you why should I listen? and two I don't speed anyway laughing at an unreal ad isn't going to make me into a speeder. three, I wrote "lol" in response to blacksharpies comment therefore it was not a direct response to the video...hence why it said @blacksharpie99? Who the fuck do you think you are? Why don't you actually do some looking into before you reply to me with worthless shit.

  • @ChelseaTheFlareon at any instance, this isn't the place to type lol

and who do i think i am? i think i am somebody with manners.

you could have wrote that entire comment WITHOUT swearing.

my comment will never be "worthless shit" because you missed the point of my comment completely

it was to tell you to respect this comment space since the video that goes with it is very serious.

don't be so hostile in the reply, is that okay with you?

  • @StitchV2 Maybe swearing was too far. I mean not for me, but I didn't consider the fact that you'd use it. Anyways back to what matters. "lol" those are three typed letters and they exist as nothing more than pixels. Are you REALLY going to let a bunch of meaningless pixels ruin your mood?

  • @ChelseaTheFlareon no because i'm currently watching WWE TLC and enjoying it

  • @StitchV2 Wait...wha- okay nevermind. I'm not even going to point it out ):|

  • Flawed reasoning. It's not the absolute value of the speed limit, but whether and by how much it is being exceeded that becomes important, as was the point of this video. From other research:

"Exceeding the speed limit - whether it be 50km/h or 110km/h - greatly increases

the risk of being involved in a serious accident. The risk doubles for each 5km/h

over the speed limit. Recent US research estimates that in at least one third of

fatal accident one or more of the vehicles was speeding".

  • In other words, exceeding a 40kph speed limit on a residential road can be equally dangerous (probably moreso to pedestrians) as exceeding a 100kph limit on a highways, simply because of the surroundings (kids on bikes, school kids running across the road, dogs, etc).

  • But in Germany it also takes a lot longer to get your drivers license. Its also more expensive and the test are difficult to pass.

  • Thats effed up...

  • The U.S. needs more commericals like this. My brother is a fucking careless retard and has been in about 4 accidents so far, and one of them life-changing.

  • thats fucking retarded..

  • you sicko!!

  • it depends.

  • that was awfull

  • WOW Thats extreme. That would teach people a lesson on speeding

  • well the blood is a bit over the top lol

  • not really.. you obviously have never been at the scene of a serious accident...

  • Of course I have im a trainee policeman. And I have seen less blood from someone being shot in the heart

  • dang... i wanted to make tumbs up but i clicked down... sorry lol

  • A very similar accident to this happened a couple of streets over from my house about a year ago. Except it was the poor baby who got killed and the mother who was left to try and put her life back together.

  • Well, speeding is dangerous, but being a jerk is much more.

I've been driving on a highway close to St. Petersburg at around 120 kph (+10 kph to the speed limit) That's a minimum fine interval. Most people do more. I was driving in the left lane, the rest of the road full of trucks. A touareg drovw behind. For about 30 secs he was flashing "far" headlights into my mirrors, than overtook me and hit his breaks in front of me, than repeated. A rare moment when I really wanted a man killed.

  • They should play this ad in sydney a lot. there are so many retarted drivers here that always have to speed.

  • dont see how speed really played a part in that, if he wasnt tailgaiting and was paying attention to what was happening infront of him he would have been fine

  • This is quite possibly the most massive overdramatization ever.

I prefer the "You're not that big" campaign.

  • Scare tactics at work here. But I do believe people that speed and kill people get what they deserve. I have no stake in this because I don't carelessly speed.

  • You could easily get hit by someone who does speed though. I'd say we all have a large stake in this.

  • I wish I hadn't watched this now! That poor baby :( I know it is only an ad but it is really sad!!!

  • No dont feel that way about it being just an ad, these always get me too, I hate the ones that involve a dog also, cause I love animals, and I have seen two ads where the owners get hit by a car and the dog is whining by them, its really sad.

  • What happens when your a tool driving a Front-wheel-drive Toyota Camry... moral of the story?

  • The blood in baby hands and feeth is from the mother, right?

  • They showed us these commercials at drivers ed. I just remember going wow, I dont think I wanna drive at all ahahah.

  • oh yes austarlia im sure after evreyone in the contry watches this youve probly scared them so much that they dont want to freaking drive a car anymore

  • boring gay add that trys to scare ppl

  • i know its meant to stop peaple speeding but jesus crist look at the baby

  • Every K OVER is a killer!

Just as well here in the UK we use MPH :D lol

  • how bout shutting your fucking face asswipe.. hope you dont have to go through that ..ppffft then we can shut ur face hey

  • That language doesn't make you sound in anyway intelligent.

  • oooh boo hooo ..sue me bitch

  • You just because you can't think of any come backs..

Return when you gain the brain capacity when you find something interesting to say.

  • well with comments you make.. i dont think your the intellligent one here.grow up

  • Comment removed

  • LOL but really mean.

  • omg

  • Wow, I want to lobby this to the govt in Ireland

    So simple, yet so shocking

  • OMFG, where is censore??? O.O

  • its an australian commercial not american. If it were american commercial the fcc would never show this. its these types of commercials that really get to u

  • who said i'm from america? -_- In wis world is continents like asia, europe, africa. Not only america...

  • i never said u were american, i said "if it were an american commercial" referring to the commercial

  • Take the baby and run

  • doesnt matter how long you been driving of have experience!! because it only takes someone else to loose control and ull be dead

  • not nessesarily!

  • That is sick

  • burn in fucking hell asshole hopefully u will never have to experience something like that

  • I do that everyday :)

  • ummm thats not a good thing...

  • Now I know why I can't drive on highways, I'm only on my learners, but I'm terrified of going anywhere near 100 km/h (or around 62 mph I believe)

  • this one twist my guts!

  • fucking hell, im not gunna speed when i get a car.

  • Coulda been better, though; it could have been a PAIR of mothers wheeling their prams.....

  • Comment removed

  • Oh that was awful!

How did they make the kid cry like that?

    Scary...

  • wow this is old.

  • OMG WTF

  • It wasn't him speeding that caused the accident, it was him weaving through the traffic like a fanny. People who drive like this need their faces re-arranged using a wheel brace.

  • What a stupid advert.

Driving too fast is always bad but this kind of advert, which wants us to think about that, is really stupid.

They really think the gore, blood and emotions will teach us to drive slower....I won´t!

There are really good adverts about this topic but this is so stupid I really laughed about it.

  • i could hardly laugh,but after all you're right..

vids like this only make you paranoid,i mean is it fucking worth driving at all,if you have your mind on images like this all the time?..

  • Whats up with the dark voice?

  • the only way you know when you have experience is when you are actualy in a car crash or you are trined in controlling a car

  • is the mum dead and da baby alive or are they both rly bad injured i wanna know plz reply

  • I analyzed this in media studies, the mother is dead and the baby is badly injured but alive, it's meant to shock people because society usually precieves babies as vulrenable and who are completely dependant on their mother, hope this helped :)

  • Double Kill! FTW!

  • it sure as fuck doesn't help matters though when something goes wrong.

  • The poor baby.

  • thts horrible.

    :(

    x

  • If the speed limit were to be increased then people would become used to it, change their daily scheduals and then eventually speed up so they make it to their destination

Then they would be going even faster than the original speed and making it more dangerous

  • I disagree. I speed a bit, yes, but I don't choose my speed by doing X over the limit. I just go as fast as the conditions allow. If in an area with people around and parked cars on the side of the road, I'm likely to go slower than the limit. If it's a wide open road, I go faster.

If the limit was raised on the open roads I speed on, I would simply follow the new one, not increase my speed even more. The people who really speed are the real dangers, the ones who don't care about tickets.

  • there was a time where a road near me was a 30. but no1 did 30 on the road. ther were 21 fatal accidents on that stretch of road that year.

the next year the road was made a 40. there was only 4 fatal accidents that year

  • lol gayest ad ever

  • 0_o

  • I've seen this on T.V far worse than the think ads in europe I think it was banned all my friends have seen this ad too it is horrible

  • holy shit , im from victoria i havent seen this one at all. i think i need counseling now
