wow this takes me back. The Abras on the creek. I remember we could take the boat to any number of spots on the coast and go fishing, come back, bbq on the beach. It was a unique place. I don't suppose all those beaches are accessible like that anymore.
@axz555 i love that old dubai whan u can sale things on street and out side u r shope but now days if u do that u go 2 prison old bubai was real now a days every things r fake like the people of uae
All the development is attributed to the rulers. I really admire Shk. mohammed and his father for having such a vision for their country. I sincerely wish the leaders of subcontinent had even 50% of the will Dubai's rulers have.
@suniljiandani I would wish too, however you must not forget, the rulers were blessed with oil while the only thing India is blessed with is population. But still the country moves on.
Nice video , my old man used to work here a long time ago.
You definitely have a point. However the will to make lives better for the people is what I was referring to, which I saw in UAE' rulers and what I feel is missing big time in Subcontinent Politicians including India. The potential of people in India was never a doubt.
Very good I first visited Dubai in December of 1984. This looks like Bur Dubai where they have the Abrah's water taxis in order to cross over to Deria,Dubai for yet more souks & the famous Gold Souk!! I moved to Dubai in 88 & lived here for 12yrs. At number 4:07 is this area that your driving in Jumeirah? If not it sure looks like it.I cant believe how much Jumeirah & all of Dubai has grown, changed we used to see goats & camels walking across Jumeirah Beach Road. Thanks for the memories
I like this Dubai better.
