My horse has Cushings and I have this episode to thank for getting her on Chaste Tree berry powder. She's been on it for about 6 months and she's improved! ♥
@gilliangirl1 I actually keep a journal where ive written down all of the herbs & training methods & such used in Heartland, & this is a new one for me. Would you mind telling me which kind you get & how much you use for what size of horse? Also im assuming its something you add to a horse's feed correct? Thanks in advance & id really appreciate it if you would answer :)!
@theWolfQueen13 Wolfqueen, great idea!I never thought of keeping a journal My horse Sable passed away December 1, but not from Cushings. Vet said she was in amazing condition, despite her age and Cushings.I credit the Chaste Tree berry powder for this. She'd shed out really well every year too, you couldn't tell she had Cushings. Anyways, u can buy Chaste Tree berry in any horse store.I still have the container and it says Basic Sports and Equine Nutrition on it. If u want more info msg me
@cyflym1 Well, I know a lot about Alberta (the actress who plays Sarah, haha) but almost *nothing* about horses... But I've read somewhere that Cushings disease it's not so serious. I've read other person who answered that it could be, in the case of a horse so old as Falcon is :(
Awww the donkey connection made me cry. :)

I thought Cushing's disease was basically a horomonal imbalance, I didn't think it was serious.
