I have got to build me one of them that is a great use for a busted doggie cage. I find them at yard sales from time to time they are cheap too. A fish trap can keep food on the table and that is priceless.

Thats' a great use for an old dog cage and $3 of chicken wire.

What body of water are you on there?

Pan size catfish 10" -14" are DELICIOUS!

Light delicate, Not oily at all, a superb fish for frying. Had any luck catching bigger fish with that trap?

@SkittleArmageddon : yes, they're pretty good. It's prolly my favorite freshwater fish to eat, but they're a'lil hard to skin , cause they dont scales. actually, the smaller ones are best. I like to bread mine with seafood breader and pan fry em in oil, when there done put some hot sauce on em, and enjoy!!!!

good idea man...be aware that trapping any game fish is illegal...also, using live bait on anything other than rod and reel is also illegal...i do it all anyway, but just letting u know cause the ticket is fucking huge!
