@PDB254 Actually, it's doing multiple species that each get their turn to test new mutations. It's anywhere from 20 to 40 and you get to see how each one changes over time. I think they can also crossover traits.
he didn't write it. but as far as i can tell the fitness is determined based on 2 things: the red masses do not touch the ground, and the distance the car travels.
the author of this program has aparently vanished from the planet. and for some reason no one has replicated his program. i dont get it.
It's not a Genetic Algorithm.
It's just a random generator.
There is no hereditary of form of each successive model.
That's why all of a sudden, it's a small box with the wheels close together.
