An upstanding and HONEST politician (yes both words can exist in the same sentence) such as Ron Paul would be the only reason I would vote for a major party. Someone you could actually respect and look up to. That is why the youth support Ron Paul. He is the man that gave them reason to care about politics. He is the man that they have identified with as someone who actually knows what he is talking about. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate that would ever have the respect of the Middle East.

Independents are important and it is important to understand that many people such as myself could NEVER vote for a major party ever again as their politicians simply use different flavours of the same ideas. In Australia our Liberal (aka republican) party stole the ideas of One Nation (ballpark Tea party) which was a force to reckoned with until they were undermined. Ron Paul represents the future as he has seen the deceit of the past. Both he and his son dont mince words, flip-flop or lie.

Now, if Erin Burnett can learn to even say his name. She wouldn't even mention Ron Paul's name when Wolf Blitzer was talking to her today. She did the same thing to Ron Paul on Halloween night. She proclaimed to have contacted all of the candidates to talk of their campaign plans on Halloween. She mentioned everyone except Ron Paul.

Am I the only one who notices now that the media is backtracking? Now that Ron Paul is a viable candidate, everyone is pretending they've done a good job of reporting on him. And after they absolve themselves, they instantly go back to some unfounded notion that Ron Paul will run as a 3rd party candidate. I think this will backfire, because people are getting tired of being told what to do, and all this does is annoy people and attract them to Paul's campaign.
