Actually, the mafia wins once they outnumber or equal the citizens. If they outnumber the citizens during the day, then all they have to do is vote off the last of the innocents. If the numbers are equal, the mafia will obviously lock up the vote forever.

Step 1: Move to Italy preferably Sicily

Step 2: Loan a lot of money from the nearest bank.

Step 3: Use the money to hire some random Italian people, buy some fancy suits and a shitload of guns and ammo

Step 4: You can now go to the bank which you loaned the money from and then blackmail them you cancel your loan and of course give you money in the process.

For New Years we played this and I was in the mafia and their was two of us left, and two civilians and the other mafia player voted me dead (I think she just didn't want to be suspected) but if we had voted off one of the civilians then we would have won a fair game. It was kind of funny though because when we were choosing who to kill the moderator accidentily asked one of the mafia, by name, if they agreed with our decision. I laughed so much, it was a massive fail XD XD

@Ronni3no2 I would just like to point out that in the video it says, and this is how we play it, that the game ends if the citizens are able to kill off all the mafia, or the mafia is able to kill off all the citizens.

i love playing this, one time my 2 brothers and i were the Mafiosos and we killed every one. i convinced them that i was the directive and my brother convinced them he was the doctor and my other brother let us blame him and kill him so n one would suspect us. it was great!

You can just write the charachters on a piece of paper, fold them, so nobody can see what is written on the inside and everybody can just pick on. More easy.

There is also a game w/ more charachters, called 'The Wolf Game', its about a mid-evil town, the mafias are werewolves, the detective is psychic and the doctor is a witch-doctor. The game even has a game-pack, w/ all the charachters cards and their abilities marked out on every game, a manual and lots more. :D

it makes it more challenging (and in my opinion, more fun) when the person does not reveal their card once they are killed. otherwise it is far too simple to finish the game, especially in a small group. greatest game ever!

you could only play with one person as mafia. you dont need two. but the bigger the crowd the better. you can even have 3 or 4 mafia if your group is big enough.
