Shobana expressions are great but i think she doesn't looks like she is posessed for a ghost, she seems too normal for me in this case.

Jyotika dances "bad" and throws her hands around like someone said, but that's because she's haunted, and one couldn't dance like a pro while having a ghost inside haha xD

In the movie, she is not possessed by a ghost, she is a mentally disturbed person. So she is doing a great job portraying her longing for the lover in her character. Jyothika has nothing on Shobana!

i am sorry but i think jyothika's perfomance was amazing though... As we all know and for those those who do'nt, shobana was a trained dancer meanwhile jyothika is not.For an actress who never learned baratam, jyothika's perfomance was outstanding.I dont think that there should be any comparison between them.That would be unfair. i agree bt jyothika has put even western steps in the dance whereas the dance is fully barat natyam& this song was choreographed by shobana only &it is not shobanas mistake that she has learnt dance this movie was releasedin 1993 something whereas that movie was released in 2003 &she should hav copied shobanas style of dance & by the way jyothika had learnt the dance 4 some 3 months for the song & till that she should hav learnt the dance
