  • That's not a Gold Coast City Council truck, it's a JJ Richards truck (contracted). Council garbage trucks are smaller. I should know I used to work in city cleaning, Miami depot.

  • Cool vid. I did not know JJ Richards used MJ grabbers for this type of truck, I thought they used Superior Pak grabbers instead. Also first time I have seen a 360L bin being dumped by 80L - 240L bin design Grabber (almost fell in) usually they use bigger style grabbers like in Kui Rung Gai city council they use for green waste

  • never seen this service doing units before nice vid though

  • reminds me of the Auto Reach arm in a way. great post

  • film the rubish truck inside the car one morning

  • why is he not in his truck and emptyig from the controls it he in there

  • Loved seeing him empty those 360's! Great vid, why's it semi automated?

  • Nice one mate, haven't seen many Gold Coast truck's in action before, but I see that they use the MacDonald Johnston grabber on the arm, not the Superior Pak grabber like on the newer ones.

  • "whoa he' picking up a big long bin"

  • Nice find( Y ) love the Richards Compactor's (:

  • No, I was on holidays when I first saw the truck. I didn't get the recycling service one as it came so late when I went out.

  • preety good

  • Great video! Awesome seeing a Richards dump a 360L - nice catch. So do you live in the Gold Coast?
