This film was the first British film to be made in colour. Not all of it is in colour, unfortunately, as Tauber could only afford to have the "performance" part at the end of the film processed in colour ( and the prologue, I recall ).
Excellent performances from everyone. See it over and over and there's always something else going on which catches the eye.
Beautiful interp and audio Fidelity Color Balance and Harmony are perfect for the period. Was this from around 1932?

Quite right. The film was made at Denham studios in August/September 1936, and had its premiere in March 1937.
