I like Ibuki and Akuma. But I keep losing. I mean, i am kinda new at it. I always get nervous when I okay online and I forget everything and just blank out :((

I feel MK is a little more balanced because every character has the same health and is roughly the same size (Sheeva excluded). However combos are less freeform than in SSFIV because you have to press a certain pattern of them such as 1121. Street Fighter is easier to block but lets just say they are to entirely different games lol.

Street fighter definitely is not the modern warfare of fighting games. I think its more of the halo of fighting games. Its better balance, its slower, its harder, and it takes more time to master. Tekken or SC or more like the CoDs of fighting games.

@redalgo99 Meter is used for either ex or super. "ex" it when you use a special move and press two of the same buttons to execute it. for example, ryu's hadouken becomes ex hadouken if you do the quarter circle motion with two punches (light punch and medium punch). this will burn one of 4 meters in your super guage. Ultra's are executed by certain motions (located in your character moveslist) and pressing all three punches, or all 3 kicks. hope that helped!

Yeah, it sure is harder to master. Combos are ridiculous to perform. Is it easier to play with the arcade stick? Because I use the 360 controller and I don't really want to buy another piece of equipment :P.

@xGaKo Super isn't, but the original SFIV is. It's not as good, and they're releasing an update to Super that will put the original two versions behind. Still, people play it because its the only thing available on PC.

SSF4 is not noob friendly at all, when I first picked it up I hated it and was annoyed by how difficult combos were. I got my ass handed to me online (and still do), but after a couple of weeks of practice i fell in love with the game and got a few of my friends to buy it too.

You don't want to use a PS3 or Xbox360 controller for sf games. Thats the worst thing you can possibly do. It is nearly unplayable with those controllers.

I suggest you buy a SF4 Fightpad or a Fightstick. Other than that, you can't really play SF competitively.

Oh and for the record i do play more SSF4 now a days then T6 but i'm a hard core tekken fan always have been...as far to say it T6 sucks or witch one is "better" i like both and there completely different games...i think SF games are WAY easier to pick up and learn over tekken combos list and move list fucking 100+ moves and combos...we all see the same shit over and over in SF games tekken is way more technical. I've been playing street fighter 2 of and on since the early 90's yet when I just started playing SF4 a just a few ago when Super came out I've been owned quite a few times. This games is definitely not noob friendly. You have to work on it because the way the characters move is much different than even SF2 was.

i use a fighting pad, and its pretty good, only down side is that the D-pad is bulky so when you press crouch block, it sometimes read it as pressing back, so yeah, watch it and train yourself w/ the pad and you can be more efficient,
