A real gun costs much more than Call of Duty, and could potentially be dangerous, plus you need an adult to buy it for you, or be of age. Most people that play Call of Duty, aren't.
Plus, you can get a cheap guitar+amp set for about the price of one of these plastic guitars and the game.
And by the way, I play both real guitar, and Guitar Hero, and I'm very good at both.

lol people only say that who have no idea why people play guitar hero. Guitar hero gives help with co-ordination and finger placement so that people find it much easier to learn guitar afterwards. Also, its far too much fun to play.
It's the same way singstar lets you see how close your voice is to the note and makes you listen to yourself more.

I hate when people insult others for being talented at a game like Guitar Hero just because they have to make themself look superior and cool or whatever they're after, it's just stupid. I heard that kid who got about 100% on Guitar Hero 3's song "Through the Fire and the Flames" on Expert had suicidal thoughts and became depressed because of the nasty remarks made by all the idiots commenting his youtube videos. I'm not sure on it, but it's what I heard.

Guitar Hero is a hobby that does not "take" any band, or their music. It is certainly not "better" than the band, either, Guitar Hero really just honors it in the form of a fun rhythm game. Disagree, well don't know about live, but they do kick ass, well songs do at least. I don't care what people say about them being over-rated, sure some people might think it's harder than it actually is, but it doesn't matter considering it still is hard to play even if it is easier than most think it is. Furthermore, even if I am wrong (very rare), it wouldn't matter because even if it's easy, it still sounds awesome, and thats what music is listened to for, the sound.
