Good to see you interested. Keep in mind that un-powered gliders and this launch method aren't for everybody. Now days, cause of brushless motors and LIPO batteries most gliders have motors.
In addition to being difficult to launch, remember that piloting a glider is COMPLETELY different from flying a powered plane. But if gliding is your goal, also check out Discus gliders, and slope soaring.
