there is no best class at all but i tell you what. If you are more of a pvp style choose mage, walock, warrior, rouge DK, Warrior. If you like killing bosses and having more of a solo style and finishing all bosses without any help choose paladins, hunters, shamans, druids and if just healing and helping your teamaets allot choose priests

paladins are the ones with the most stories behind it they are made for a reason they are the holy defenders and what can you say about hunters? nothing no story sure they crit some times but is that really evrything u want in the game don't think so and if u hate that pallyz heal that means they better than you maybe if u keep dieing in front of it so creat a pally!

i was at the same point as you. i got my hunter really high then hated it. i tried several diferent classes until i finally decided that paladin was best for me. trust me on this. pally start out real slow and kinda boring but around lvl 20 or 30 you can own any1 your lvl. i killed a hunter level 45 when i was on my pally lvl 37.

spencotte - The exact same thing happened to me, I chose hunter as my first class and got him up high, got bored and tried EVERY class until I finally decided Pally is my favourite playing style.

Human=Retribution.

Sword/ Hammer specialization help doing more demage.

Human spirit give you more mana regeneration than any other race

Every man for himself will save 1 trinket space so you dont need Insignia of the Aliance

Dwarf=Protection

Stone form help you to mitigate demage

Draenei=Holy

Heroic presence help your grp to give more critical hits

Naru Gift is the only HoT the palys can use and has no mana cost.

It depends. If you want a lot of mana and average hp, go Draenei. If you want a lot of hp and average mana, go dwarf. For in between, go human.

no, they hate paladins because they have no cc, sub-par dps, very gear dependent tanking, only 2 channel to cast heals, and extremely low mana efficiency (longativety). they hate your lack of abilities in every situations, they hate your lack in anti cc abilities, and they think your bubble is over powered. that's y ppl hate paladins and have no respect for them.

CC...they have rightous defense...but then again, they are a supporting class.

Now more then ever are ret paladins going up to warriors and rogues. Guilds now ask for them; their abilities are coming to light quickly.

Mana effeiency? You gotta be kidding me...they have the best mana effecient spells in the game, and decent ways to restore it.

Anti cc could be done with Engineering and bubble.

Bubble is overpowered...perhaps it is...but it's a last resort.

People are liking paladins now.

BEAUTIFUL _ am a total noob but, am 100% Paladin last night Horde dicks attacked and I as a 11lvl got my @S$ destroyed until some 70s showed up. it's not true. in the lore i like the blood elves for their unfortunate situation about the addition of magic, the orcs for their return on the shamanistic tradition after the Third War, the Tauren for their respect on nature and the undead for their fight for survival in a world that repulse them. it's the way that many players view the Horde that i not like, seeing them like mindless bloodthirsty creatures.

Inn the lore, they are not bloodthirsty, the Orcs was for a short ammount of time because of their demon affliction. But if we look away from that, none of the Horde races are bloodthirsty or evil. Except for the Blood elves tough, but they are only "evil" because of their addiction.

And the Tauren has always been peacefull. But then the Centaur attacked them..wich is another story.
