Guitar Lesson - How to Play Chromatic Scales

Well maybe this isn't really advanced, but you did provide some clarity for me when it comes to playing chromatic scales on the guitar! I hadn't thought about phrasing 5 notes per string, I was just doing 4! This works very nicely, and while I haven't looked really hard all the other websites call for 4 fingers per string & switching postition on each string...

i never thought id say this but im having a tough time finding challenging stuff to play. if anyones got some nice scales preferable above the 10th frets plz tell me where to find em

@doctorchalupa What about harmonic minors scales? Maybe playing E harmonic minor starting around the the 12 fret 16th notes at 180bpm would help?? Or work on sweep-picking/arpeggios?

@doctorchalupa If you want to be humbled, then try playing some Allan Holdsworth or Marshall Harrison. They will make you want to give up all together.

Its an Epiphone Emperor Regent. Its $700 new in the US plus $90 for a case. Since you used the word bloody I am fairly confident you are British. If thats the case double the price and you can have it due to the high taxes you "blokes" have to pay.
