Feel the fury behind a regular punch. Feel the shock through your body. Same with your kicks, when you realize the difference is when your forms will pick up in speed and strength, and fluidity, and yada yada yada....
I do notice that intent changes the quality of practice (this sounds sad, but my Hung Gar and my mantis sets are downright ferocious when I am pissed off.)
This one I had literally just learned and wanted to save it for reference.
it looks really good and clean.. if you can try the shoalin long form(not long fist)I looked around and i can't find it, maybe you'll have more luck, I'm about 3/4's done and it's awesome, i think you'll like it.
Add more jing, and don't punch higher than your own should, don't lean forward, at least not more than in this video, otherwise, very good. The kicks in some versions are aimed at the shins or knees, but not allways. The version I learned had only low kicks.
hey, I saw that you know a lot of forms! where are you located? I have been learning it for 2 years and I am in Los Angeles. You can check out my videos. Kung Fu on Grand Canyon... on Youtube, I wasn't that good back then..
hey this is Ta Tu, rite? Where do you learn it? its a bit different than the one I learnt, you did pretty good, good stand. But you can try to relax more and do it faster, smoother. =)
thnx=) I had literally just learned it a few minutes before (and I left out two techniques, lol). I'm not really use to the flow of northern, but I hope to work on that as I become more familiar with this set
why is it so choppy and separated, not fluid?

@porchhonky Because I had literally just learned the order not even five minutes before recording this. This was shot for reference.
