According to my timer, GC hits 52 inches on his first dunk and 49 on the two hander, 46 on the windmill, 50 again for the overman dunk, 51 on the second try, 48 on the rider over man. Imagine that.
GC floated 1.03 seconds in the air on the first dunk.
No, it would defy that "Sports Science" physics show with Jordan Farmar. They were the ones to say that a human being can't jump (can't hang) more than 1 second. Just because they never seen anybody with a jump like GC's doesn't mean it can't happen. I know, Jordan Farmar can't, and neither can I.
But to come in and say that with that assuredness is a little overboard.
To be sincere though, Golden Child is the only person I have measured vert on that got in that 50 inch range/1 second of hang.

Golden child is not the only person who can, and he has even higher dunks than these. Flying101 has some serious footage of some others who can hang just as much if not more...

not to diss golden child, I think he is a great dunker but after seeing the stuff the Air up there and other dunkers have done nothing seems new or that amazing anymore. I mean for God's sake The Air up there is working on a 360 double between the legs and is coming close to pulling it off and he is 6'1 do you know how long you have to stay in the air for that and if he gets his hand speed up he will do it.
