HE is just a bollywood actor where the success is based on other factors than talent( religion, underworld connections) . why this much flattering; did he do anything that may change the ordinary man's life in any small way.

@chumma76 How the hell is SRK's success related to religion and underworld and why the hell should he do somthing about the world? Talking of connections, one should look at the political connections and trecharies of amitabh bachan.

i did like to read it but the problem being the cost here in US the book is priced at a staggering $15 but back home it is for a paultry 350 rupees so a better bet is to read it on going back home i guess or shed the precious here

You know what , it is a very nice book, a friend got me an early copy. Though there's lots of stuff about his life and new stories from people she interviewed, it's a serious book rather than a "fan" book, about Bollywood today and how Shah Rukh and the movies he is in have come to represent something for India right now.

I'm a big fan of Shahrukh. I have preordered this book, but I am a little disappointed. I really thought she was going to write an OBJECTIVE book on Bollywood and Shahrukh. After viewing this I'm not sure I'll get that. I'll have to read and find out.
