@SuperHappyMonkey1 you could but the coating mix may not be as crispy. I would use foil on the pan and NOT oil the pan as it tends to moisten your crumb mixture and make the outer crispy part soggy. You also have to cook the chicken in the oven longer obviously. Another thing you can do is make your own spice mix with the bread crumbs. the lady in the video loved her salt but I like to use garlic salt and spice up the coating mix rather than adding table salt...
@SuperHappyMonkey1 sorry I meant to say baking sheet instead of pan, also, I forgot, I like to bake the tomato mix on top of the chicken with the cheese in oven for a bit even if I do initially fry the chicken as it flavours up the chicken nicely. Something about cooked tomatoes & chicken, nothing else quite like it.
***buy a pounding hammer*** sorry hun. My laptop (Compaq notebook) is being extra bold today. : 0 / I'll shake the salesman that sold me this rubbish.
While cooking some chicken breasts the other evening i was thinking to myself "mark...you need to but one of those pounding hammer thingys". I made chicken omlettes Tammy!!!! Can you imagine!! hahaha! ♥
No because we ended up going to my sons house for dinner on wednesday instead of him coming here...BUT he is coming here next wednesday and we are having it then...i made him watch this video to show him what we're having! He said YUM!
Yum - hubby might like that. May have to try it. Thanks! Love all the colors - tomato and basil and then the veggies on the side. Yeah, you didn't need a starch - it was perfect.
by the way I made the roasted potatoes with the Lipton Onion Soup mix in addition to the olive oil and everybody LOVED it! Thanks! My wife said, 'we must never be out of soup mix again" It was awesome!!
Well I know what's for supper tomorrow. I've had this in restaurants and love it, but I've never done it at home. You've inspired me, and I even have everything in stock.
Final touch: just a sprinkling of fresh grated Romano over the salsa. :-)
wow it looks soooo good

It's hard to get out of the habit of always having potatoes/rice/pasta on the side. You are right, in this case it wasn't necessary.
yoyomax12 2 years ago
this has everything I love in it, I have to try this one, thanks Tammy.

anmoose 2 years ago
yes! I only drink Moscato what shall I bring for you?
souixana 2 years ago
Two or three bottles of a nice Moscato d'Asti should do fine.
For me...

The salsa looked beautiful and I bet was very tasty on top of the chicken! Nothing like fresh ingredients!

Love the idea of coating the chicken with the Caesor sauce.
SuzanneBa 2 years ago
The Caesar sauce ads a nice creamy galicky base to stick the crumbs to.
Thanks!!!
