  • wow it looks soooo good

  • can i use dried basil instead of fresh basil?

  • @shipoopi228 yes

  • Can you bake the chicken instead of frying it?

  • @SuperHappyMonkey1 you could but the coating mix may not be as crispy. I would use foil on the pan and NOT oil the pan as it tends to moisten your crumb mixture and make the outer crispy part soggy. You also have to cook the chicken in the oven longer obviously. Another thing you can do is make your own spice mix with the bread crumbs. the lady in the video loved her salt but I like to use garlic salt and spice up the coating mix rather than adding table salt...

  • @SuperHappyMonkey1 sorry I meant to say baking sheet instead of pan, also, I forgot, I like to bake the tomato mix on top of the chicken with the cheese in oven for a bit even if I do initially fry the chicken as it flavours up the chicken nicely. Something about cooked tomatoes & chicken, nothing else quite like it.

  • Do u have to pound it

  • @ninjagirl363 no, but it tastes better if it is thin (and cooks faster)

  • We had this for LUNCH!!! :DD

  • @xCillaKiwiix Wasn't it good? I really like this recipe

  • The colours in the dish are very appetizing to the eye. Thanks.

  • ***buy a pounding hammer*** sorry hun. My laptop (Compaq notebook) is being extra bold today. : 0 / I'll shake the salesman that sold me this rubbish.

  • Pounding hammer for the chicken or the computer? lol.

  • Pounding hammer for the chicken....dynamite for the computer! Or a "patience pill" : 0 /

  • While cooking some chicken breasts the other evening i was thinking to myself "mark...you need to but one of those pounding hammer thingys". I made chicken omlettes Tammy!!!! Can you imagine!! hahaha! ♥

Ok, that's going to be made here on wednesday when my son visits

    :-)

    Thank you Tammy

  • Did you end up making it Trish?

  • No because we ended up going to my sons house for dinner on wednesday instead of him coming here...BUT he is coming here next wednesday and we are having it then...i made him watch this video to show him what we're having! He said YUM!

  • lovely....:)

  • Thanks!

  • Yum - hubby might like that. May have to try it. Thanks! Love all the colors - tomato and basil and then the veggies on the side. Yeah, you didn't need a starch - it was perfect.

  • It's hard to get out of the habit of always having potatoes/rice/pasta on the side. You are right, in this case it wasn't necessary.

  • this has everything I love in it, I have to try this one, thanks Tammy.

  • The fresh tomatoes and basil make it very fresh tasting.

  • Oh MY how delicious that looks!

  • It did look great, nice colours to it.

  • I see no more banner did you lose your partnership :(

  • I took the banner down, I thought it was a little pretentious.

  • Completely off topic, but it's really great how far you've come as a video maker and how your channel has grown.

  • Jason!!!

This comment means a lot to me.

I am amazed how well things are coming along. It helps to have fellow YTubers supporting you!!! Thanks.

  • by the way I made the roasted potatoes with the Lipton Onion Soup mix in addition to the olive oil and everybody LOVED it! Thanks! My wife said, 'we must never be out of soup mix again" It was awesome!!

  • Well I know what's for supper tomorrow. I've had this in restaurants and love it, but I've never done it at home. You've inspired me, and I even have everything in stock.

Final touch: just a sprinkling of fresh grated Romano over the salsa. :-)

  • @anmoose what time will it be ready?

  • LMAO! I usually shoot for about 6. Are you bringing the wine?

  • yes! I only drink Moscato what shall I bring for you?

  • Two or three bottles of a nice Moscato d'Asti should do fine.

    For me...

  • Yummm......Romano over top would be PERFECT!

  • Hahaaa! It was. And I'm doing it again, probably this weekend. This is one of those recipes to keep toward the front of the file. Yummy!

  • The salsa looked beautiful and I bet was very tasty on top of the chicken! Nothing like fresh ingredients!

  • The fresh ingredients really help with the colour and flavour of this. I love fresh basil.

  • Looks great Tammy, I must try.

  • thanks!!

  • Looks delicious :)

  • Thanks! It was. :)

  • The tomato salsa could be served on toast points as bruchetta if you add garlic :-) Looks yummy!

  • I make a baked almond crusted goat cheese appetizer and I served it with this salsa and some bagel crips.

  • Now that sounds better than the chicken! YUM!!!

  • looks so yum!!

  • Thanks!

  • This has been a recipe I have had on my "to make list" for quite some time.

Looks SUPER yummy :)))) 4:02 WINNER

  • We like many of the same recipes! We are a lot alike that way. :)

  • I agree. Every time I see something you make, I want to immediately make. Then,..sometimes we make the same thing the same day ;)

  • My computer zipped off from the drool..

  • Sorry...lol.

    Bib next time? :)

  • omg! I'm drooling over this. This looks like it could be my favorite meal. I'm putting this on my favorites and making asap! Thanks for sharing!

    *smiles*

  • Let me know if you like it! Or tape it and add it as a video response! :)

  • Looks yummy. James asked this morning if you had put anymore recipes out! HA! Hugs Tammy!

  • It tickles me pink that James asks about me Melissa. :)

  • Love the idea of coating the chicken with the Caesor sauce.

  • The Caesar sauce ads a nice creamy galicky base to stick the crumbs to.

    Thanks!!!
