This band should thank Elastica for allowing people to know who they are. Elastica "made" this song, these guys just wrote it. Kind of like the Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston thing.

LOL....I'm actually sad that morons were able to experience Wire because of Elastica. I'd prefer you never even heard of this band....thats the way most of us like it. @thatswhattheyis I think REM covering them probably got a lot more people to know Wire than Elastica sounding suspiciously like them ever did. Not to mention the countless other bands who have covered them. I haven't counted, but I'm pretty sure there are more Wire than Elastica covers on YouTube!

This was'nt the only Wire song that Elastica seemed to be listening to either! "Line Up" sounds suspiciously like "I am the Fly" and "Nothing Stays the Same" like "Kidney Bingos". Not to mention their Stranglers "cover" "Waking Up"!
