Instead of "Espero que mañana es bueno por ustedes": "Espero que mañana sea bueno para ustedes" o ..mañana tengan un gran día...
And about "por los de ustedes que no hablan...", it's fine but it'd be better "para quiénes no hablan..."
I guess that when you said "mirar en el lugar más brillo" was like look on the bright side? Then it'd be "mirar el lado bueno"...Hope that this helped...

Your spanish is really good. I understood everything but, I think that you don't really have to translate the names of places. Just say "el esta en long island" cuz thats the name of a place, but if you want to translate the name don't say "la isla larga" just say "isla larga" cuz it is not called "the long island" or is it?
In truth, there were some parts that really killed my ears. But you spoke very well for the most part, especially considering that you're an American and most likely learned in an American school, having been taught by Americans. My suggestion is that you never change the way you speak! Sounded very original and funny, tenses were right, gender too, so I don't see any "mistakes". Accent just is part of the fun to it, well you do sound like Puerto Rican Lol. The only thing I would recommend is that you don't speak that loud, well that's funny too I guess... haha

Hey Carl! Your spanish is good, still some flaws, but your accent is clear...
Instead of "Espero que mañana es bueno por ustedes": "Espero que mañana sea bueno para ustedes" o ..mañana tengan un gran día...
And about "por los de ustedes que no hablan...", it's fine but it'd be better "para quiénes no hablan..."
I guess that when you said "mirar en el lugar más brillo" was like look on the bright side? Then it'd be "mirar el lado bueno"...Hope that this helped...

Here in Mexico San Valentin is also known as "dia del amor y la amistad" so theres no problem if you dont have a boyfriend or girlfriend cause you can also share with your friends and have a good time
But I share your opinion of being a "fake" day cause you have to show that you love or care for that special person everyday, not only this date (February 14)
Anyway, I like your spanish, its quite good!! :D

Your spanish is really good. I understood everything but, I think that you don't really have to translate the names of places. Just say "el esta en long island" cuz thats the name of a place, but if you want to translate the name don't say "la isla larga" just say "isla larga" cuz it is not called "the long island" or is it?

In truth, there were some parts that really killed my ears. But you spoke very well for the most part, especially considering that you're an American and most likely learned in an American school, having been taught by Americans. Your professor did a fantastic job! I've never heard an American speak half that well! lol.

My suggestion is that you never change the way you speak! Sounded very original and funny, tenses were right, gender too, so I don't see any "mistakes". Accent just is part of the fun to it, well you do sound like Puerto Rican Lol. The only thing I would recommend is that you don't speak that loud, well that's funny too I guess... haha
