I tried the freezer method last night with three candles but it didn't seem to work. The wax just wouldn't come out of the jars so I will try this method. I am going to use the leftover wax in my oil warmer.
@DaintyDomesticDeity Yes, it did. All three candles worked wonderfully. I kept the leftover wax for my warmer and the scent is so much more potent than it was as a candle, lol :)
You mentioned that the candle make the house smell good when you do this, almost like a tart, and i thought of an idea, you could actually melt down that extra wax in a double boiler and pour a shallow amount into a dixi cup, maybe a half to full inch or so up, and let that cool and then peel the dixi cup off and use it in a tart burner! :) just an idea to use that wax nd not waste it, espcially being fro bath and body works!
Thanx alot !!!! i had one beautiful glass vase with a candle inside which burnt it till the end it was from a centerpiece of my frnd's wedding ... i just wanted to keep this glass as a memory ... n u helped me to save it for life .... thanx alot once again.. :-) excellent way to remove the candle n i think most easy way within few minutes its done ....
Knowing how I am overly sensitive when it comes to high heat, I put on some thin winter gloves and it helped a lot. Otherwise I probably would have had to use cooking tongs or something...
