Niese is the Mets ace in the hole! This guy has great stuff & he is only 22. The funny thing is you hear how the Mets need pitching and all thease baseball experts are talking how the Mets need pitching and NOBODY is talking about Niese and giving this kid a shot. If you look what he did in triple A the second half of the 09 season and what he did in the majors when he got called up, he had some very good outings and you can start see something special in this kid. HE IS GOING TO BE A GOOD ONE!

He shouldn't have been called up yet. He still has some things to figure out. Once he does, he'll be a fixture in the Mets line-up for years!

John Niese fucking sucks, he threw over 70 pitches in less then 4 innings, now the mets are winning only 5-4 because he gave up 7 straight fucking hits and there are still no outs
i grew up with john and went to school with him for 12 years and he was always cocky but hes really grown up and matured he was never a big stand out in anything .. him makin the major leauges came outta fucking no where

he got his ass beat today..idk what his prob is..idk if hes ever gonna be a really great pitcher..time will tell..who knows..lol..at least i can tell people ive hit a homerun off a major league pitcher..(little league)..like i said him makin the mlb came out of no where..were from a small ass town in ohio and we have 3 mlb pitchers..chad billingsley(dodgers) chad reinke(padres) and now neise with the mets..its crazy cause were such a small city.
