I have found that a lot of the time dubstep artists dont know what to do with the lyrics of the songs they remix. Either they are almost completely taken out or just dropped and stepped over in a haphazard crude way ruining the lyrics. But all in all this song is really well done. If you could maybe drop it an octave and maybe make it darker and grimier and send me it to me, i would fuckin love that.

The future you talk about is a NEW genre, and not dubstep... it may have certain similarities, but if i was to write a song with a technical background; fast paced tempo, polyrhythmic guitar parts and drum beats, high end distortion etc... it would be Tech Metal. If i took the polyrhythmic drum beats and added them to a song which had violins, cellos, trumpets and trombones, piano, and a percussion section... wouldnt mean it was still tech metal!

I suggest learning how genres are defined against each other, because too often now, do people use the genre they WANT a song to be, rather than the genre it ACTUALLY is.

There are so many reasons to remix a song - to put your own individual stamp on it, to parody it, even give it a whole different meaning or a different vibe.

Also I wouldn't say that this is better than the original. That wouldn't be fair because Toxicity is a classic track but this is awesome for what it is!!!
