She still kicks ass and did a great show - they only lowered the key for call me, all other songs were in the original key. Lots of punk musicians hung out at our record outlet - and I'd turn 'em onto '60s garage bands like The Sonics, Blues Magoos, Shadows of Knight . . . In America there was so much opposition to it all. We couldn't get radio to spin Blondie, The Ramones, The Dickies, Devo, The Jam, or Talking Heads - much less the Clash. Only Rodney On KROQ would play it. It was such an exciting time!

Here is Blondie and you would think the crowd would be a bit more hip but as you can see they're still a bit stuck in the disco era trying to dance to a popular new wave group. Having said that they probably came prepared to dance to heart of glass in this set.
