@boeing767338 That was purely my speculation. I know nothing of this flight. I posted In response to colindominy who said: "this is NOT .. EVER .. the rightful, RESPECTFUL way to treat a meduim-lift aircraft . Just goes to show even pilots, are humanly UNABLE to contain their abhorrent self-desire to show-off, due to uber- unhealthy, way-excessive ego." I was simply pointing out one scenario where such flying would be, by my standards, acceptable and not just to show off, as he implied.
The attached commentary to this clip DOES NOT identify whether this is an airshow, OR a standard commercial flight. Either way .. this is NOT .. EVER .. the rightful, RESPECTFUL way to treat a meduim-lift aircraft .. no matter WHAT their purported max performance criteria are. Just goes to show .. even pilots, in certain instances, are humanly UNABLE to contain their abhorrent self-desire to show-off, due to uber- unhealthy, way-excessive ego
@colindominy Or this was a flight test when the A-320 first came out, which I believe this was. But go ahead and keep pretending like you know something.
I'm not saying I don't believe all you guys who say it's an airshow, but that doesn't seem like the right type of plane to be doing an airshow with O.o
Not at airshow.I was passenger on that plane going on my holiday to Spain, spilt coffee on my lap and burnt my nuts,i went up to the cockpit to complain and found the pilot had let his pet dog fly the planeThe worst part was the dog was fucking blindfolded.Wont be flying with them again!
Look at 00:16 - 00:19, anyone else find it ODD that the Runway, which is in front of the small single-engine Cessnas, are like the same size as this supposedly plane? I saw it on a documentary, and it is in fact a model-plane.
@minjenus I think you'll find that is the taxiway not the runway. The Cessnas are parked on the grass apron between the taxiway and the runway. the aircraft looks like an airbus and I can assure you the video is real. if you look between 00:03-00:05 and compare the aircraft size to the taxiway marker or the birds, you can see that it is a real aircraft and you can also see the difference between the taxiway and the runway.
The wing constructon of a modern commercial passenger plane should take it. even while people on board. The two problems with it are only the acceleration forces that human body must take and the danger of stalling the plane, when you can't get the nose down again fast.
It would be dangerous if the plane were carrying a lot of weight--the wings could literally snap. Ever seen the fire-fighting cargo plane video? Without the extra weight, though, it's probably designed to fly just like that.
About that fire-fighting-cargo-plane-video, that you are reffering to: Actually on that plane weight had nothing to do with it directly. It was the metal fatigue on this case, and poor maintenance ofcourse. There is a TV-show, Air Crash Investigation. Find it on Youtube and watch yourself.
@Rebekah270984 my answer is "no it is not safe" but only if it is a scheduled passenger flight. Yet in this case we have an airshow and an aircraft empty of passengers with only the pilots onboard who intend to show to the audience which are the capabilities of this aircraft. So in the end my answer is "no it is not dangerous" just because no professioanl and high end trained pilot would fly an airplane beyond its limits. I can assure you.
@lawrenceworkgrave Well I can also assure you that it's not completely safe as nothing ever is. Can you honestly tell me that there has never been an accident at an airshow? Of course it is dangerous, because of that manouvre been so close to the ground, of course there is an element of risk involved. I presume it would only take a small error of judgement to smash that plane into the tarmac. So therefore nothing at all mis-leading about the title.
@Rebekah270984 Many accidents have occured in airshows.Like much more have occured in the highways.
Every form of activity includes a big or small amount of risk don't u think? You still get into cars right? It is crystal clear that the uploade used this gross description to increase his channel views, usual practice we are not new into YouTube :-)
@lawrenceworkgrave Ok then...is this take off more or less dangerous than a normal take off. I would suggest that because this plane flys low to the groud and only a feww feet over the tops of other planes that this is quite a lot more dangerous.
And yes I do get in a car every single day, otherwise I couldn't really do my job very well.
There's probably 2 things going on here. It looks like he only used a short amount of runway to demonstrate a short field takeoff. The plane has to remain in ground effect before attempting to climb out or risk a stall. He prolonged level flight to build up airspeed for the dramatic climbout.
Not dangerous at all, this is a special kind of takeoff called a shortfield TO; not done a whole lot cause runways are made long enough for standard TO, but it can be done if need be.
@1998samtheman Not at all. It's not dangerous, it's a performance takeoff, you take off then fly level above the runway to gain speed then you pull up as far as you want (90 degree max) and flatten off when you near your stall speed. SOP in a lot of situations. It's just not as comfy as a "standard" (airline) takeoff.
@lkaasikmae SURE IT IS!!! OK Man performanceT/O.. Pulling 3Gs+ with flap setting 15° will impede the aircraft lifetime to say the least!! The A/C may suffer distortion of high lift systems, even an A320 with FBW system!! Moreover the pull up was initiated before the gear was totally retracted, imposing an overstress on the hydraulic system. When I see people claiming a liner climbs up to 90°, NONSENSE !!! all airbuses after 310 are limited to a 30° body angle attitude. Please ACK!!
Watch birds do this...fly low over a road, then dart up into a tree. Oh yeah... it's fun, hold the plane straight & level, then bleed off the excess airspeed in a short burst climb. Could be dangerous...you must know the stress/tolerance levels of the particular aircraft. How did his passengers like the maneuver? Was his plane empty?
that plane at 21 seconds, is smaller than cesnas in the back, if its closer to me, the jet has to be larger.....god, this is why no one like americans
This looks like it was an airshow demonstration to show the performance of the plane. I THINK it's an A320 in which case it is fly by wire so the computer software would determine how violently the pilot can maneuver.
That was a test flight maybe they had to fix someone on the plane and now testing it at full power of a climb rate 40 degrees or more. It seems like a 40 degree climb maybe they were testing engines or controls if he was going that fast and climbed altitude that quickly.

pilotnya nge trick? kan bukan saatnya nge trick, nanti tabrakan. kalo mau nge trick itu harus yang pake yang kecil dulu atau ada airshow baru.
