  • ıts called 'COOL UNLESS IM IN IT!'

  • The aircraft is also empty with a lot less fuel.

  • amazing :D

  • This is a manouver for a arishow, and its perfect.

  • Not dangerous: after the take of, the pilot retract the gear and take a long acceleration level before hard climb: excellent manouver!

  • It's called "american takeoff"

  • This is a practice of zero G, for red bull pilots.

  • nice fake

  • Comment removed

  • I think he was trying to gain a good speed to cross a bad weather.... I think

  • this is a a318.

  • Is that an Airshow The pilot take nose down after take off this isnt a fal i think

  • Airshow or not, this is no way to fly a plane. there is something called sense, which this pilot does not have

  • @batura1 Your deprived of all things good.

  • Imagine if they showed this clip in the cabin just before take-off and exclaimed, no need to worry... Our pilot has 10 years of stunt experience

  • The attached commentary to this clip DOES NOT identify whether this is an airshow, OR a standard commercial flight. Either way .. this is NOT .. EVER .. the rightful, RESPECTFUL way to treat a meduim-lift aircraft .. no matter WHAT their purported max performance criteria are. Just goes to show .. even pilots, in certain instances, are humanly UNABLE to contain their abhorrent self-desire to show-off, due to uber- unhealthy, way-excessive ego

  • @colindominy Or this was a flight test when the A-320 first came out, which I believe this was. But go ahead and keep pretending like you know something.

  • menn thats an awesome takeoff

  • Parece que el piloto estaba con la caña.

  • I'm not saying I don't believe all you guys who say it's an airshow, but that doesn't seem like the right type of plane to be doing an airshow with O.o

  • sick maann

  • dangerous where?

  • I saw a vid of a KDC-10 do something like that

  • It's a short field take off. Totally procedural. Although, this one was pretty sick!

  • maybe he just took a puff of his weed fag and pulled the joystick up:)|

  • No passengers I bet!

  • nothing unusual about a high performance climb out, ( as long as your cleared to do so) could be practice for an air show.

  • @stevegauth30 Its an airshow obviously.

  • OMG that pilot is high as a kite.:O

  • It's an airshow. The pilot held the plane in ground effect until he had enough speed for the extreme climb. There were no passengers on board.

  • It's an RC. Check out the scale against the Cessna ramo

  • Check scales of Cessnas on ramp. Fake.

  • What scale is that R/C? Looks almost real-

  • @hotelgulf ARE you kidding? Its looks ALMOST real, because actually it IS real.

  • The passengers must have been terrified. I'd sue the airline for that, it would ruin the start of a holiday.

  • my ears would pop so hard

  • whats so dangerous about it?? Its an airshow...its planned that way...k

  • There was a fat guy at the front ..

  • Not dangerous, if wind conditions are satisfactory.

  • too bad southwest doesnt do this

  • his flaps are up

  • What will happen if the wing flip over

  • It would have been dangerous if he went nice and slow before he yanked it up into the sky. It should have been called "Fun Takeoff".

  • Just building speed for a steep climb, dangerous is sitting in front of a computer in the basement for your whole life.

  • 0:25

pilot- STALL! LOl jk, im good.

  • Shoulda had a V8, or a 5 hour energy, or a monster, or red bull, or rockstar, etc.

  • I see that everyday...

  • I won´t sit inside the plane!!! ;-)

  • I can do that...

  • why?

  • airshow

  • "This is the pilot, we are short on time today, everyone please sit down and shut the hell up. Also you might pass out in 3, 2, 1..."

  • Wow, I wish I was in that plane with the pilot, or if possible, i'm the pilot. Must've been fun. I want to do the same :(

  • A319 very nice!! ferry fly :):)

  • YEEE-HAAA!! Haha

  • oh my...

  • Durva!

  • is that real or rc?

  • OMG, that looks like so much fun!!

  • EX military pilot I guess=)

  • I'll feel sorry for the passengers who is experiencing a rollercoster ride... Arrrgh shiit I spilled me tea...

  • @jack253 i wish i was one of them, looks like fun, seriously

  • HOLLY SHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

  • hole shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

  • Look at 00:16 - 00:19, anyone else find it ODD that the Runway, which is in front of the small single-engine Cessnas, are like the same size as this supposedly plane? I saw it on a documentary, and it is in fact a model-plane.

  • @minjenus I think you'll find that is the taxiway not the runway. The Cessnas are parked on the grass apron between the taxiway and the runway. the aircraft looks like an airbus and I can assure you the video is real. if you look between 00:03-00:05 and compare the aircraft size to the taxiway marker or the birds, you can see that it is a real aircraft and you can also see the difference between the taxiway and the runway.

  • he pulled up so fast I thought he was going to stall

  • This isn't a dangerous take off! Its a high performance take off! Rotate, level off, gear up, build speed, then vertical up.

  • It's a high-speed climb-out. There's nothing dangerous about it.

  • mega :D

  • NICE, talk about clearing an obsticle

  • Big plane+high speed+large rapid change in angle= HUGE load on wings.

  • how did dis nigga pass hiz flight test

  • hoax

  • flaps? oh yeah...sorry.

  • Not dangerous at all.

  • PEOPLE, HAVE YOU HEARD OF SOMETHING CALLED AN AIRSHOW? they fly planes like this to show the performance.

  • @scottwhr well now think about this take off with 150 PAX on board ;)

  • @scottwhr

HAVE YOU HEARD OF ORLY? Airshow or not, its still dangerous.

  • @scottwhr huh what's dayut?

  • -.-"

  • WTF?

  • The wing constructon of a modern commercial passenger plane should take it. even while people on board. The two problems with it are only the acceleration forces that human body must take and the danger of stalling the plane, when you can't get the nose down again fast.

  • It would be dangerous if the plane were carrying a lot of weight--the wings could literally snap. Ever seen the fire-fighting cargo plane video? Without the extra weight, though, it's probably designed to fly just like that.

  • @happystance7able

About that fire-fighting-cargo-plane-video, that you are reffering to: Actually on that plane weight had nothing to do with it directly. It was the metal fatigue on this case, and poor maintenance ofcourse. There is a TV-show, Air Crash Investigation. Find it on Youtube and watch yourself.

  • NOT safe... BUT~ Every pilots wet dream....to do just THAT. ! sweet .!

  • wow nice takeoff ( just kiddin )

  • I can still hear them screaming. LOL! Reminds me of when they used to fly Boeing 727's out of Dutch Harbor. Now that's a ride.

  • dangerous? this is called "AIRSHOW"

a dislike for the misleading title from me

  • @lawrenceworkgrave Oh so this is perfectly safe then? Don't think so....

  • @Rebekah270984 my answer is "no it is not safe" but only if it is a scheduled passenger flight. Yet in this case we have an airshow and an aircraft empty of passengers with only the pilots onboard who intend to show to the audience which are the capabilities of this aircraft. So in the end my answer is "no it is not dangerous" just because no professioanl and high end trained pilot would fly an airplane beyond its limits. I can assure you.

  • @lawrenceworkgrave Well I can also assure you that it's not completely safe as nothing ever is. Can you honestly tell me that there has never been an accident at an airshow? Of course it is dangerous, because of that manouvre been so close to the ground, of course there is an element of risk involved. I presume it would only take a small error of judgement to smash that plane into the tarmac. So therefore nothing at all mis-leading about the title.

  • @Rebekah270984 Many accidents have occured in airshows.Like much more have occured in the highways.

Every form of activity includes a big or small amount of risk don't u think? You still get into cars right? It is crystal clear that the uploade used this gross description to increase his channel views, usual practice we are not new into YouTube :-)

  • @lawrenceworkgrave Ok then...is this take off more or less dangerous than a normal take off. I would suggest that because this plane flys low to the groud and only a feww feet over the tops of other planes that this is quite a lot more dangerous.

And yes I do get in a car every single day, otherwise I couldn't really do my job very well.

  • @Rebekah270984 nice argument though! cheers! :-)

  • @lawrenceworkgrave good answer

  • oh man. It's an airshow

  • And all the passengers: BLARF! xD

  • There's probably 2 things going on here. It looks like he only used a short amount of runway to demonstrate a short field takeoff. The plane has to remain in ground effect before attempting to climb out or risk a stall. He prolonged level flight to build up airspeed for the dramatic climbout.

  • At 0:16 seems like the tail dropped a little going a low altitude. Otherwise it's a perfect take off.

  • Not dangerous at all, this is a special kind of takeoff called a shortfield TO; not done a whole lot cause runways are made long enough for standard TO, but it can be done if need be.

  • @seany11244 jets don't do short field takeoffs you dipshit

  • wow high rate of climb.

  • FAKE . . . . .

  • That isn't dangerous.

  • whats dangerous ?

  • To the atheists: What's wrong with believing in a god? If it makes people happier, let them believe.

To the believers: What's the problem if people don't believe in your god? They are happy with their life and you with yours.

  • thank god I'm an atheist

  • Why did he level off right after lifting off? As far I as I can remember, after a plane rotates, it's supposed to go into positive climb. Right?

  • That Take off was for an Airshow in Portugal you stupid fuck :P

  • *plane takes a strange takeoff*

me: wow, he was low... then went nearly vertical...

*scrolls down to see related coments to see an argument over christianity and atheism*

    me: orly? ._.

  • @Quetzecoatl WTF does that have to do with god?

  • @Quetzecoatl cus it is at an air show!!! it would be seriously dangerous to do something like that on a public aircraft.

  • @1998samtheman Not at all. It's not dangerous, it's a performance takeoff, you take off then fly level above the runway to gain speed then you pull up as far as you want (90 degree max) and flatten off when you near your stall speed. SOP in a lot of situations. It's just not as comfy as a "standard" (airline) takeoff.

  • @lkaasikmae SURE IT IS!!! OK Man performanceT/O.. Pulling 3Gs+ with flap setting 15° will impede the aircraft lifetime to say the least!! The A/C may suffer distortion of high lift systems, even an A320 with FBW system!! Moreover the pull up was initiated before the gear was totally retracted, imposing an overstress on the hydraulic system. When I see people claiming a liner climbs up to 90°, NONSENSE !!! all airbuses after 310 are limited to a 30° body angle attitude. Please ACK!!

  • Watch birds do this...fly low over a road, then dart up into a tree. Oh yeah... it's fun, hold the plane straight & level, then bleed off the excess airspeed in a short burst climb. Could be dangerous...you must know the stress/tolerance levels of the particular aircraft. How did his passengers like the maneuver? Was his plane empty?

  • Looks like the standard procedure take-off by Turkish Airlines.

What all went wrong on the 2 flights I did with them is awesome.

  • that plane at 21 seconds, is smaller than cesnas in the back, if its closer to me, the jet has to be larger.....god, this is why no one like americans

  • Leave the ground retract the gear and clean up the plane, then Gain airspeed and have fun leaving the airport in a DEMO run.

  • Hello people ! Turn the lights on in your brain its a airshow !

  • by empty I mean EMPTY...no seats installed, no overhead lockers, even no toilet paper in the loo!

  • Plane must have been empty with low fuel. He took off Without Flaps!

  • looks like an airshow stunt

  • DAMN!!!!! That is downright dangerous!!!! Hope the pilot got a good harsh lecture from his/her boss about what he/she did!!!

  • ok wtf everytime i watch a youtube video on youtube there isa fucking religeous war in the comment section!

  • @BoeingBeatsAirbus yepp...

  • its part of an aero show , showing you the capabiltity of an airliner

  • what the fuck is the pilot doing there\?

  • haha..xD sehr wahrscheinlich war der autopilot falsch eingestellt..xD

  • This looks like it was an airshow demonstration to show the performance of the plane. I THINK it's an A320 in which case it is fly by wire so the computer software would determine how violently the pilot can maneuver.

  • @Spaceace2001 Yea it is, might be an A319 though, quite short this one.

  • @Spaceace2001 unless he turn the fly-by-wire systems off

  • HEY AVIATION BUFS!!!! How fast was this jet going just before going straight up ?

  • @MonacoBlast probably a little over 200knts

  • Nothing dangerous there.

He held it level to build up excess speed and then used that speed for a steeper climb,

  • That was a test flight maybe they had to fix someone on the plane and now testing it at full power of a climb rate 40 degrees or more. It seems like a 40 degree climb maybe they were testing engines or controls if he was going that fast and climbed altitude that quickly.

  • som1 needs to remind the pilot that he is not on an f15

  • hahaha the pilot must be drunk and/or medicated. stupid american race

  • @leklek69 or he was a test pilot

    1. America is not a race it is a nation people from America it is their Nationality not race

    2. Disagreeing with American Politics is understandable but classifying a "race" or in this case a whole nation as an inferior race shows that you obviously were raised wrong and your ideologies are out of whack and you yourself sir are undereducated

this is coming from an American

    3. How do u know this pilot is American?

  • @leklek69 your people like to fly planes in to buildings!

  • that was a test flight,

  • why are people arguing about athiesm when theres a great plane video here

  • @djsims2 I wish I knew, but really what else do you expect from our species.

  • Religious crazy youtuber trying to justify the Genesis myth telling an athiest they have no common sense= LOLtastic.

    Video= holy shit.

  • not fake that was a short field takeoff,,taught in basic flight school for clearing a50 foot obstacle at the end of a short runway,,,,,im not going anywhere near that religious argument lol

  • Fuck shit i would shit my friend if i was there!!!1

  • FAKE !!!!

  • @heerlenlive Oh, it's 100% real. It was at an airshow.

  • Fake

  • @caiocsgn thanks for pointing that out for all of us.

  • This is at an airshow. It's an Airbus A319 aircraft.

  • Hey Thormaxx--Great video!!!

  • he dont even know that he can broke his plane like that

  • What a idiot.

  • haha, as a pilot i no this is easily possible

  • dangerous???? You're a douchebag, it's not dangerous at all but fully within the regime of the flight computer and within the capabilities of the aircraft

  • that airplane was not design for stunts unless modified but i believe it is an airshow because normally that plane would be in an international airport but it looks likes its in a small airport by the runway sizes, the small planes on the ground, and that the people are stading on the tarmat.

  • oh shit, sorry I thought the flaps were set! D'oh!

  • if i waz in that airplane id jump out the front door *by the engiens* <_< spelling fail... and die in the turbine rather then STALL and crash and burn....O_o

  • Co za walnięty pilot xD

  • It's an air show bud. He flies level after take off to build up speed for the manuver.

  • As took off, could only be empty, it is still risky

  • bet those people left their stomachs behind!

  • this cant be real...this maneuver at the end is not possible with that airplane....this is not a F15 etc.

  • @Will84ABA yup. thats too impossible for a large plane.

  • @Will84ABA um yeah it is real, it was at an airshow and the plane was empty.

  • thats how you do it son :)

  • pilotnya nge trick? kan bukan saatnya nge trick, nanti tabrakan. kalo mau nge trick itu harus yang pake yang kecil dulu atau ada airshow baru.

  • Maverick!!! That's Not An F-14!

  • pilot on drugs haha

  • BAMF pilot thats what this is!

  • Comment removed

  • wow(Y)

  • wow tht must've been dangerous no matter if the plane waz filled or not
