im glad i only bought it for the art work, altho i do think your being just a bit pretentious going on and on about the stupidnes of the story line, i you watch interviews with jim about this book its clear to any, god damn retards, that he and frank wer laughing at the book themselvs. batman does not drag people back to the bat cave, just the guy who killed graysons family in order to see what kind of person grayson was, so dont exaggerate. the art is STUNNING not good, jim makes it work!

Frank Miller never said it's a satire. It's not a satire. He intends it as a serious story, while also providing some comic relief so it's not overwhelmingly dark and negative. The humor comings from the characters interactions with each other. Robin calling the cars name queer is obviously meant to be funny. And Batman's wisecracks are obviously meant to be funny. Dirty Harry's wisecracks are meant to be funny, and that doesn't make the Dirty Harry films comedy satires, either.

And people need to realize this is an elseworlds series. This is Batman in another universe. Its more real.
Frank Miller always maintained that Batman is a psychopath. And if a man dressed like a bat in reality... I'd have to agree.
