the only reason why amy fired john was because he didnt like evanescence anymore because he didnt feel like thats where he belonged and he didnt have passion anymore and amy thought that john would be better off without evanescence and not miserable anymore. he only mentions evanescence in a sarcastic way because the whole thing was just so stupid and over dramatic and they want to move on and all the fans wont let it go. its ancient history! not important!!!

Bands are super hard to keep together. Being in a band is stressful when you're NOT in the public eye, I'd imagine it's 1000 times worse when you are. I feel bad for everybody involved. Ben, Amy, John, Rocky, everybody. Sometimes things just don't work out. There are a lot of bands that have issues with each other, such as metallica, but are too concerned with their image and the press to move away from each other. I hope everybody involved in this situation is happy now.

PART 2 (TALKING ABOUT ROCKY) Fortunatley, many of those people care about this project and came and warned me, so we were able to replace him in time to continue the tour as scheduled. I then told John it was time he did what he obviously wants to be doing- playing in his own band. Being a touring member of a band when what you really want is to be a creator can be frustrating- I guess that frustration got the best of john.

@immortalsoloist Look. I don't know about John but Moody ABANDONED his own band and Will just left because he wanted to spent some time with his family. The fact that Moody started writing pop songs just after he left Ev proves that he craved to make a different kind of music or gain fame easier. It may be true that John didn't care about Ev anymore because if she wanted to make a "new" band she'd fire others too. As far as I know Rocky just left and were not fired
