I wish i could find more songs where she sang acapella. And yes, the reason why she speaks english so well is because she was raised in hawaii then moved to Nipon to pursue her music career. So really it should be, "its so amazing that she can speak nihon-go so fluently after such a short time." haha just my two cents.
