When I first opted to have surgery on my ear that hearing aid wasnt offically out. It came out a couple months after. I remeber being so frusterated. I kind of wish it was just so I could have tested it before I made my decision. The help the surgery did make is not going to stay.
You can not even see the aid.My Mom wore hearing aids. She lost most of her hearing when she was a young adult. She has surgery an it fixed it for awhile then she went almost deaf. she got a cochlear implant on one side an could hear really well.
It is amazing what they can do. I had ear surgery on both ears. It went very well. I can hear grass grow now:) It took like 2 years to get used to hearing again. What kind of hearing loss do you have? TTFN "I"
My son is 17 months old moderate/severe loss to left ear and profound to right... Watching young people like you makes me see that he can and will be just like every other kid... I cant wait til he can sit and have a conversation with me... Im only 23 so im not an old ass mum bugging you!!!! LOL Can you hear at all without them? Did you find it difficult to learn to talk? My son so far only says mum, bub and bot bot (bottle).

I am not sure what kind of hearing loss I have.
We don't really know where the lost came from either.
It is defiantly not old age, haha.

what type of surgery did you get?

Wow, that is a small aid! I recently got hearing aids as well & I hate them, they're much better than that.
Have you always needed them or was it more recent? My hearing went south in my teens, too much clubbing and loud headphones!

I have always needed hearing aids.
Probably born with it, but it I am still not 100% sure.
